We thought drinking around the world at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT was enough fun for the day, or maybe two days. Modify those checklist shirts, temporary tattoos, and lanyards because the brand-new GEO-82 ADULTS-ONLY lounge is coming to EPCOT this year! This will add one more check mark to your day.
The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, or better known as EPCOT, opened its gates on October 1, 1982 and features a geometric shape that create the iconic ball creating Spaceship Earth. The name of the new lounge, GEO-82, pays homage to the year the park opened.
The décor is said to be warm in tone and the similar geometric shape that created Spaceship Earth will be brought into the lounge as well. From the chandeliers to the floorings, the iconic structure will surround you. Currently the map in the Walt Disney World app shows that GEO-82 will be located on the backside of Spaceship Earth, looking over the center of World Celebration.

The next question most guests will want to ask is what does the menu look like? Well, we really do not have a menu release yet, however I’m sure we will see one prior to opening. For now, Disney Destinations has described it as “innovative cocktails and globally inspired small plates.” The menu of small plates would make sense since the park does showcase countries from around the world.
GEO-82 will be the first of two lounges set to open in 2025 inside Walt Disney World. The second is Pirates of the Caribbean inspired and will be located to the right of the attraction. Currently the walls are up for the construction, and not much news has been released.
