Fashionable women accessories for travel
As cruising begins to start up again, some of you may be wondering what to pack for a cruise. Whether you’ve sailed before or just need a refresher, I will provide you with some essentials as well as things you may have not thought about!
My recommendation is to always try to pack light but like myself, some of us can’t help but be over-prepared. The cruise-lines do provide a small store with some essentials, but if you forget you’re undergarments you may be out of luck until you hit your first port! I won’t bog you down with the obvious shirts, shorts, and shoes. Here is a list of some things I recommend:
- Wheel spinner suitcase
- Swim diapers (for the beaches)
- Outlet Adapter
- Small Portable fan
- Hand Sanitizer
- Wine (check specific cruise line for details)
- Corkscrew
- Cabin nightlight
- Poo-Pourri
- Over the door shoe organizer (not for shoes but toiletries)..those bathrooms are small!
- Sticky notes - to leave messages for family in the cabin
- Ziploc Bags- perfect to keep things dry or separate wet items while in port
- Beach Towel- something that folds up nicely while in port
- Mask and Snorkel for those port adventures
- Slip resistant sandals
- Phone charger
- Re-chargeable batter pack
- Phone/ camera dry pouch
- Wide- Brimmed Hat/ Sunhat
- Sunscreen
- Binoculars- especially for for those Alaskan cruises
- Copy of your passport
- Sweater for the ship
- Lanyard for your room key
- Insect repellant
- Anti-nausea medication
- Sunglasses
- Beach cover-up
- Backpack
- Cabin Alarm clock
- Towel Clips
- Refillable Cup- for water
- Extra prescription medication
- Cash
- Books to read on the ship
- Nice attire for eating in the dining room at dinner
There is so much you can bring on a cruise but it is important to remember that the cabins are typically small and do not have a lot of extra space. The most important thing to remember is to just relax and have fun!
