Food & Wine New Menu Items

The time has come my foodie friends! EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will commence on July 27, 2023 along with some new dishes and returning favorites. What are you most excited about trying? Take your taste buds on a journey around the World Showcase and experience food like never before. This year, there are four new Global Marketplaces that I am excited to try! The big question is, do you go left to Mexico or right to Canada?

Emile Fromage Montage Food & Wine

One special activity some guests are unaware of is the Festival Passport. This little guide book showcases each kiosk and you can collect stamps along the way for the items you have purchased. This year the stamp collection will be for Emile’s Fromage Montage. If you enjoy all things cheese, this activity is for you! After you purchase and try five separate items by collecting their respective stamps, you can receive a prize, collected at Shimmering Sips. The Festival Passport is also a cute souvenir to remember your trip and those tasty menu items you choose to try, and the ones you passed on.

The Alps kiosk is offering a brand new menu item, Dark Chocolate Fondue with berries, pound cake, and meringues. The Alps kiosk also will have two of the Emile’s Fromage Montage options. Both are Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese options, one is served with shaved ham and the other is not, each will include baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguettes.

Flavors of America is also offering three Food & Wine new menu items for 2023. Italian Hot Beef Sandwich, which is shaved beef with spicy giardiniera and au ju. There will also be Cioppino, which is a seafood stew. The final new item will be Chilaquiles. This item is created with tortilla chips made from corn, a salsa verde, topped with ranchero chicken, queso fresco, cilantro-lime crema, and soft-poached egg. Chilaquiles is probably the one thing I would love to try from the Flavors of America kiosk, would you try it?

Greece Food & Wine New Menu Items

Greece will be offering a new plant based menu item this year, Plant Based IMPOSSIBLE Moussaka. This dish is a traditional casserole dish, typically made with eggplant, potatoes, and meat.

The Flavors from Fire kiosk also has two new items, Chimichurri Skirt Steak Taco and a Spiced Chocolate Tart. The taco will be served with avocado, corn salsa, and a cilantro-lime cream and the tart will contain a BBQ chip crust and topped with a whiskey caramel drizzle and sea salt.

Making its return is The Fry Basket which is known for its Fry Flight menu item. The fry flight is 3 baskets of fries, all of which contain different flavors. These fries are Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar, BBQ Bacon Fries with aioli, and the Sweet Potato Casserole Fries served with candied pecans, toasted marshmallow cream, and a maple bourbon glaze. A new item has been added to the list this year, but not included in the Fry Flight, is the Pickle Fries with Dill Ranch.

If you are interested in something sweet, I suggest visiting the Belgium kiosk. The menu offers two sweet Belgian waffle treats. The first is topped with whipped cream and warm chocolate ganache drizzle. The second is topped with berry compote and whipped cream. Both delicious and a refreshing change from the savory options.

Adding to the Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey menu, are a few new items that are slightly silly in my opinion, but coming from Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker from the Muppet Labs, I wouldn’t expect anything less. Unnecessary Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper Curry Wings and the Pickle Milkshake are creations from Muppet Labs! Returning to the menu are the Garlic Parmesan Wings (my favorite on the menu), and the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sticky Wings. Let’s not forget the traditional Buffalo Wings and the new IMPOSSIBLE Buffalo Chicken Tenders which are plant based.

Two of the usual kiosks will be opening a little later than the rest of the festival on July 27th. Hawaii and The Noodle Exchange will both premier on August 15th this year with returning menus of amazing food!

Food & Wine New Menu Items

As mentioned above, there are four new kiosks being introduced later in the fall for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Presented by CORKCICLE for 2023. With no official date announced yet. Char & Chop will serve Roasted Porchetta, Meat Assorti, and an IMPOSSIBLE Grilled Spicy Sausage. The Roasted Porchetta will be paired with a lemon-parsley salsa verde and a shaved fennel salad. While the Meat Assorti is 3 meats served with grilled ciabatta bread, arugula, and pickled mustard seeds, and truffle oil. The IMPOSSIBLE Grilled Spicy Sausage will be served on top of a herb polenta and puttanesca sauce, topped with ricotta.

Wine & Wedge, also opening later this year, will offer new menu items, three of which are featured on Emile’s Fromage Montage. The Festival Passport  will showcase the Assorted Artisanal Cheeses and Accompaniments,  Boursin Fig & Balsamic Souffle, and Southern Pimento Cheese with bread and butter pickled vegetables. Also featured on the menu on this new booth is Artist Palette of Wine and Cheese which will be paired with 3 different wine accompaniments.

Bubbles & Brine, another booth opening later this year, will serve three Food & Wine new menu items all of which are seafood based delectables. First on the menu will be Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail served with a prosecco cocktail sauce. Next will be Jonah Crab Claw Cocktail served with a stone-ground mustard sauce, and finally you will find Caviar being served with champagne cream, blini, and traditional accompaniments.

Swirled Showcase, is just what you imagined it would be, ice cream of different varieties. The traditional soft serve ice cream will be swirled and twirled into waffle cones with flavor choices of Vanilla, Apple-cinnamon, or Salted Caramel. Also on the menu offerings will be a Mickey-shaped Liquid Nitro-Cake. Cream Soda and Fanta Grape Soda Floats served with Vanilla ice cream will also be on the menu. The perfect way to cool down during the warm days of EPCOT.

Joffrey’s Coffee is also taking part in adding new menu items for the festival season. With multiple locations around the park, you will be able to experience something different at nearly every one of the locations. The American Adventure location will have a Nutty Caramel Mocha Cold Brew; The location near Canada will offer Frozen Roseberry; World Discovery will have an Amaretto Iced Tea; and World Showcase will offer a Java Horchata. All four options will also be available as Spirited Version for our adult friends.

All menu items are subject to availability and can change without notice.
