The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is now in bloom! As we have shared in previous posts…EPCOT has amazing festivals that never disappoint! This year the festival showcases beautiful topiaries, seasonally inspired flavors and return of the Garden Rocks Concert Series. Like many other festivals there are new features coming along side many returning.
There are almost 100 themed topiaries, exciting exhibits and more throughout the park. Among these topiaries are many Disney Characters one of which will be the main feature, Goofy, at the park entrance! He is displayed with a special birthday cake celebrating the Disney World 50th Anniversary. Guests be sure to use the hashtags when you take your pictures with these topiaries, #FreshEpcot and #DisneyWorld50 to commemorate your visit during The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Some of the topiaries that returned include Lumiere and Cogsworth topiaries in the France pavilion; Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Tick Tock Croc between United Kingdom and Canada pavilions; the Troll in the Norway pavilion; and Pumbaa and Timon near Imagination!
New this year is the Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy. Guests will be surrounded by vibrant butterfly topiaries, six scent stations – floral, fruity, citrus, spice, woods and fresh – and get to experience making memories with the help of unforgettable aromas.
It doesn’t stop there. More entertainment including the Garden Rocks Concert Series has returned this year! Internationally recognized artists will be performing on the America Gardens Theatre stage Friday through Monday and local bands rocking the house Tuesday through Thursday. Some of the new acts that have been added this year include, “American Pie” singer Don McLean, contemporary Christian band MercyMe, genre-crossing WAR, Latin hitmakers Melina Leon and Claudia Leitte, and rock powerhouse Daughtry.
There’s more!!!! This year there are over 50 new savory offerings throughout the festival booths. Another awesome offering is that EPCOT Farmers Feast will have a rotating seasonal menu that will change three times throughout the festival.
Lastly the merchandise!!! Of course there will be limited time only festival merchandise offered for guests to bring home as souvenirs! If you’re going to be heading to Disney World this season be sure to make a park reservation and go visit the EPCOT International Flower and Garden festival. Guests need park admission and reservations to experience this event.
