Fall celebrations at Disneyland have returned! Running until October 31, Halloween Time includes family-friendly experiences with transformed attractions, characters in new seasonal looks, themed décor, delicious treats and eats, festive merchandise and more. Also, Plaza de la Familia has returned to Disney California Adventure park now through November 2. This family event is inspired by Día de los Muertos and brings some amazing entertainment and experiences for everyone.

At Disneyland park, the Haunted Mansion Holidays returns. The attraction is transformed into a spooky yet festive “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.,” themed ride. Also at Disneyland some of our favorite characters have put together some “homemade” looks for the holiday season of tricks and treats. Be sure to look for Mickey Mouse as a jack-o-lantern, Minnie Mouse as a stylish witch (of course), Goofy as a haunted apple tree, Donald Duck as a candy corn and other new looks from Daisy Duck, Clarabelle, Chip and Dale and Pluto!
Some other fun events include “Halloween Screams,” which takes place every night until October 31. This is a not so scary projection and special effects show in Disneyland. On weekend nights this event will also take to the sky with illuminations and fireworks! This can be seen from many different areas of the park, but the best views are from Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world.”

Pop on over to Disney California Adventure park and guests can enjoy family friendly fun in Radiator Screams! Lightening McQueen and friends will be wearing their favorite “car-stumes.” But also two attractions, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween are transformed for the Halloween season!

Over in Avengers Campus, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark will be filled with creepy creatures and some scary drops! Yikes!!! These are just a few of the fun and family friendly changes being brought during the Halloween season!
