Did you hear the news? Marvelous Mouse Travels was invited to set sail on Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Utopia of the Seas, as part of a preview sailing this week! There were twelve travel agents onboard and we were lucky enough to be able to stay in an Ocean View Balcony room during our cruise, so let me tell (and show) you what this stateroom type has to offer!
As a general overview, the Ocean View Stateroom onboard the Utopia of the Seas is 181-191 square feet with a 50 square foot balcony that sleeps up to four people. There is one bed that can be pushed together to make a Queen or pulled apart to make two twin beds that will sleep two people as well as a fold out couch that will sleep an additional two people! After having slept on the beds, I can vouch that they are really comfy and I got a great night’s sleep!
In this Ocean View Balcony stateroom you will find two small closets on either side of the bed where items of clothing can be hung, a set of drawers next to the vanity for some extra storage space, a flat screen TV in front of the Queen bed, a full-length mirror on the wall opposite the bathroom, and a vanity space with a chair and light up mirror that’s perfect for getting ready for dinner!
The bathroom has a stand up shower, toilet, and sink area with storage below the sink as well as on the wall for your towels and toiletries!
And of course, the selling point for this room is the balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the sound of the waves at night or wake up to this view of Perfect Day at CocoCay in the morning. If you’re like me, you enjoy being able to do both! The balcony comes with two chairs and a small table. Tell me, do you prefer to book balcony staterooms too?
