Come to the Atrium every morning, afternoon, and evening for a friendly game of trivia! Do you want to show off your God-given talent of song? Kinky Boots is a high-heeled, huge-hearted Broadway musical hit featuring a score by the legendary Cyndi Lauper and is the winner of 6 Tony Awards, including BEST MUSICAL! This popular Broadway hit features a feisty drag queen who attempts to rescue a shoe factory by designing fabulous and fetishistic footwear. Come kick up your heels with Lola and Charlie as they take you from the factory floor of Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan! From the glamorous set design to the high-quality acting and singing, you will find it hard to believe that you’re aboard a cruise ship and not on Broadway itself!
Choir of Man was by far the best 160 minutes I spent on board. (FYI - The run time is only 80 minutes long, but it was so good that I watched it twice!) This show is unadulterated entertainment that combines high energy dance, live music, and foot stomping choreography with the incredible talent of the actors and musicians who perform everything from sing-along classics to classic rock. Spoiler alert: I may even have heard some Sia thrown in at the end! The minute I set foot in the Encore Theater, I knew this show was going to be like nothing I had ever experienced before. As I sat down in the second row of the theater, I was served a beer poured by one of the actors on stage from a real beer tap! The actors pulled me in from the minute the lights dimmed and had me cheering for them from the start. The characters are lovable, laughable, and have dance moves that will knock you off your feet! If you love to have a good time, I highly encourage you to make room in your schedule to go see this musical. You won’t regret it!
If you are a Beatles Fan, you won’t want to miss out on the Beatles Invasion playing all week long in the Cavern Club. This Beatles tribute band plays different sets throughout the week; whether they pay tribute to Sgt. Peppers or the Later Years, be sure to get there early because seats fill up quickly!
Are you more of a country music fan? Head over to Q Texas Smokehouse for a signature Smoked Peach Margarita and Country Sounds with Chattahoochee Band! There is even room for you to get your line dancing on in the middle of the dance floor.
Feeling more of a laid back vibe? Warm up and chill out with the Temperature Band playing in the Atrium in the evening. Or, feel free to join Paolo either on the grand piano in the Atrium on some evenings or Beau Tahana playing piano at the District late at night. Paolo also plays his soothing melodies to cap off your evening in the Observation Deck on select evenings.
Are you more of a performer than a listener? Join in on the Karaoke Extravaganza every evening in the Cavern Club. Have lots of fun, sing your heart out, and enjoy performances by your fellow cruisers! Don’t worry, there is a bar right inside the club, in case you are looking for some liquid courage before you get up on stage.
Treat yourself to a hip hop dance class in the Atrium, participate in the daily Good Morning Trivia at 9:15am each morning, or head outside to the pool deck for a dance party with Celeb DJ! For a fun time, head to the Atrium to Play Just Dance! on the Family Big Screen or watch a movie, which are played daily in the Atrium and on the Pool Deck.
The best part about this ship is that entertainment is provided for families and adults-only. For example, Levity Entertainment Group features comedy shows at 8:00pm and 10:00pm. While the earlier show is family-friendly, the later show is recommended for individuals 18 years & over. Similarly, the ship offers Family Karaoke for an hour before the Karaoke Extravaganza kicks in for those 18 and over.
