Here is what you need to know about the Play-Play Pavilion at Lookout Cay. The Play-Play Pavilion at Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is a jam packed area for your school aged children and teens. It is located just past True True BBQ along the family beach area and is completely shaded from the sun.
Throughout the day this area houses games and activities for guests to come enjoy. These include, Connect Four, ring toss, mini soccer, and soon, a Gaga Ball pit. There are always cast members present to assist and interact with all visitors to make sure everyone is having a great time!
A couple times throughout your day at Lookout Cay, the Play-Play Pavilion will host the Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash. Join Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale in some competitive games that will have everyone smiling from ear to ear. This 30 minute event would be best suited for children ranging from 3-10 years of age, but everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. The Beach Bash started off with a mini pep rally to get everyone excited and quickly moved into interactive games where all children were involved. First up was limbo where kids and characters alike tested their flexibility to limbo under Goofy’s towel. Next, the group of kids were split into two teams and took turns tossing a ring onto a wooden tree. Last but not least, the two teams of kids had to use sponges to transfer water from one bucket to another. Parents/guardians were able to cheer their child on while trying not to get wet. The show finished off with a conga line led by Goofy himself.
Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash is one of the best character interactions Disney has to offer. Your child will feel so special and truly experience the Disney difference. Overall, I would not miss this experience when you visit Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
