Throughout the ship, you’ll stumble upon incredible musicians. On our cruise we had a harp player in one of the lounges, plus multiple live bands and singers scattered around different venues. No matter where you went, there was music in the air—everything from acoustic sets to upbeat dance bands. It made the whole atmosphere feel vibrant and alive.
But the real showstoppers are the three main productions. First is Torque, the aqua show performed in the AquaDome. It’s a jaw-dropping mix of high diving, acrobatics, and stunts that leave you holding your breath. Watching athletes dive into what looks like such a small pool, surrounded by lights and music, is absolutely thrilling.

Next is Sol, the ice skating show in the ship’s dedicated rink called Absolute Zero. Honestly, this was one of the most impressive shows I’ve ever seen at sea. The skaters pull off incredible spins, jumps, and stunts on ice—all while the ship is moving! The choreography, costumes, and energy made it feel like a professional ice show you’d pay to see on land.

Finally, there’s Back to the Future: the Musical in the Royal Theater. It’s fun, nostalgic, and filled with talent. The production quality is top-notch, and it’s such a unique experience to see a Broadway-style show on a cruise ship.

What I loved most was that these shows were offered multiple times—afternoon and evening—so you never had to miss out. With so much variety, Star of the Seas makes sure your nights are just as unforgettable as your days.
