Universal Epic Universe is preparing to welcome guests in less than three months, and we have an official list of the amazing food that is coming to the park along with the beautiful Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel. Let’s see what guests can expect to experience for their tastebuds during their visit to the brand new Universal Orlando theme park.
As we all know, there is a new The Wizarding World of Harry Potter section coming to Universal Epic Universe, this section being The Ministry of Magic which is set before the film series of Harry Potter. Place Cachée is where you arrive once you enter the portal from Celestial Park. You then arrive at Cafe Lair De La Sirene where you can find breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For a savory breakfast option, the Quiche Lorraine is the way to go! Served inside a flaky crust is the a creamy custard, crispy bacon, and cheese. It is also served with a side of berries that have been drizzled with lavender honey. For lunch and dinner you do not want to miss Poulet a la Provencal which is a roasted chicken that features a tomato olive vinaigrette with a side of roasted potatoes and French green beans called haricot verts.
Another location inside The Ministry of Magic is Le Goblet Noir where lunch and dinner is served. Here you will find items such as The Alchemists Platter and a Lentil Stew. The Alchemist Platter consists of smoked sausage, potato and cheese perogies, and a pickled egg. The Lentil Stew features blended lentils with vegan bacon, root vegetables, and served with artisan bread.
The famous Butterbeer will also be present here at Universal Epic Universe. There is a designated cart, Bieraubeurre, that is serving hot, cold, and frozen, and even non-dairy Butterbeer. Speaking of Butterbeer, a brand new item is joining the flavor menu, this time it’s crepes! At Bieraubeurre Crepe a thin crepe is filled with a shortbread cookie butter Bavarian cream and a Butterbeer cream filling. It is then topped with a drizzle of Butterbeer sauce, fresh sliced strawberries, and a shortbread cookie.

The next area that has an amazing menu is SUPER NINTENDO WORLD! I’m sure a few guests have experienced some of these menu items at the Universal Hollywood location, because that opening was a huge success. Chef Toad left no secrets behind with the Toadstool Cafe Orlando location. Open for lunch and dinner, there is something for everyone. The dynamic duo, Mario and Luigi, receive their own menu items. Mario has a burger that is served on a brioche bun that is filled with a 7oz burger and topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon, mushrooms, and cheese. On top of the bun, is an adorable red Mario hat and stamped mustache. Luigi offers a grilled chicken sandwich topped with pesto and swiss cheese. If you’re feeling extra hungry, try Bower’s Fireball Challenge. This one-pound meatball is covered in a mushroom marinara sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of parsley.

Yoshi was not forgotten, he actually received his own location! Yoshi’s Snack Island is where you will find Apple Melon and Mango Yoshi Smoothies along with a Green Shell Calzone (vegan) and a Red Shell Calzone that feature Italian meat.
One of the most awaited areas, Donkey Kong Country, will have its own beverage location as well. Bubbly Barrel will have a menu to quench your thirst. DK Crush Float will be available in a Tropical Banana flavor.
Continuing through the food journey, How to Train Your Dragon-Isle of Berk is up next and where you will find Mead Hall. To feed a viking, you need a meal fit for a viking and the Thawfest Platter is the perfect option for that. Served with grilled sausage, salmon with dill sauce, chicken drumsticks that have been glazed with a wildberry barbecue sauce, and finall a side of french fries and pickles made in-house. If you’re looking for something different, there are five different bowls to choose from at Spit Fyre Grill. The options include chicken, shrimp, steak, salmon, and vegan.
A different option would be at Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel, which is where a Mac & Cheese Cone can be found. Served in a hallowed half loaf of bread and stuffed to the brim with a cream mac and cheese, this is the perfect quick snack to grab and continue on your way exploring.
A dark and spooky, but not too spooky, location is Dark Universe. Das Stakehouse serves m o st items on a stake, Fish on a Stake, Bird on a Stake (which is only chicken), and Bits and Pieces which is mushroom and brisket meatloaf. Also on the menu is a scary good sandwich named “Blood” Orange Chicken Sandwich which is served on a black bun with a side of french fries. Served in a coffin shape, the red velvet cake is named Red Velvet Death.
The final location inside Dark Universe is The Burning Blade Tavern. Here the menu will consist of more deadly items like Hunter’s Garlic Stake, which is a cheesy garlic soft pretzel. There will also be Burning Cheddar Bites and a Burning Blade Burger. The burger is served with a spicy tomato jam spread. Have you caught the gist of the restaurant? Burning blade? There will actually be burning blades on top of the windmill that sits on the outside of this restaurant. This is one location that I am personally so excited to try later this year.
The central area where guests will begin their journey inside the Universal Epic Universe is Celestial Park. Imagine gardens, extraterrestrial creatures, attractions, and amazing cuisine. There will be a few options, ten to be exact, offering a variety of options. The first of the three that I want to mention is Comet Dogs. This quick service option takes the famous theme park hot dog and adds its own twist. Instead of toppings being on the hot dog, the brat is infused with the flavors of the type. Items like a Bulgogi Dog, Al Pastor Dog, and even a vegan-friendly option of Smoky Carrot Dog. The second dining location is a signature restaurant, Atlantic, which reservations will be highly recommended for. Here guests can experience fabulous seafood dishes. The Sea Bass will be highly recommended as the Universal Blog has chosen this as the featured dish to discuss. The final location inside Celestial Park is The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant which brings the celestial universal with a spin of asian cuisine. Menu items will consist of items like Double Fried Korean Wings and Beef Xi’an Noodles. Leave room for dessert as the Passion Fruit Mooncake, a passion fruit cheesecake made inside a handpie, sounds delicious!
