We tend to talk about events and festivals a lot here but that’s because Disney excels beyond the mind can imagine in this area! We talked about Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival and the Festival of the Arts. This time we are going to talk about Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival.
We may still be just approaching winter but in Walt Disney World horticulture specialists are preparing amazing topiaries for this upcoming event! The International Flower and Garden Festival will run March 2 and runs through July 4. These amazing designs brought to life are colorful, fragrant and may resemble some of your favorite Disney characters. But this event is not just a garden walk. There is a bunch of other entertainment as well as fun flavors that can be experienced as well!
The World Showcase is always a great way to connect with characters that are based in these counties. And of course there will be topiaries representing some of our special f friends in their home lands! Some are Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Germany pavilion or Lumiere and Cogsworth welcoming Guests to the France pavilion; which we already know has added another fun addition earlier this year. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is in the new expansion of the French pavilion. But the main show stopper this year is going to be Goofy welcoming guests into the park atop a 50th anniversary cake!
Fresh flavors are on the menu at the festival’s 18 Outdoor Kitchens as well as other food and beverage locations. These springtime drinks, appetizers and desserts will really re-freshen up your day! Do you enjoy the “Eat to the Beat” concert series? Well good because Garden Rocks Concert Series will return in 2022, featuring favorite tunes at the America Gardens Theatre. The musicians that will be appearing will be announced in the near future!
Just like many other special events at Disney there will be beautifully themed merchandise guests can buy! In order for guests to experience the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival they will need park admission as well as a park reservation.
