When Walt Disney World does a festival, they do it right! We are currently celebrating EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which is the shortest festival offered in the theme park. The amazing festival coming up next at EPCOT is the International Flower & Garden Festival. It will run from March 1, 2023 through July 5, 2023! You will have just over 4 months to be able to experience this magical event. This whimsical festival features topiaries of our favorite Princesses, sidekicks, and more! This year Walt Disney World has announced some beautifully strong featured characters from Disney’s “Encanto”! Disney has also announced a brand new Princess Tiana topiary, that will be located at The American Adventure Pavilion. Yes, this is beyond exciting, and I cannot wait to see them! Coming back for another super fun adventure is Spike the Bee in his Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration! Spike is hidden around the World Showcase for a scavenger hunt, which can be purchased at a few merchandise locations. He is not always the easiest to spot, he generally loves to hide in the gardens, be sure to keep a watchful eye high and low.
With a currently unannounced line up, Garden Rocks Concert Series has also been announced for 2023. In previous years artists Rick Springfield, Kool & The Gang, Simple Plan, Daughtry, and many more have performed during the International Flower & Garden Festival. Not only do you need to keep your eyes open to see all of the beautiful works of art created from flowers, but you will need to keep your nose open to smell all of the mouthwatering foods! With all of the festivals at EPCOT, there are some featured foods in the Outdoor Kitchens in each pavilion. Also be sure to check out the returning Blossoms of Fragrance presented by Scentsy, this is located right on your way into World Showcase.
