Beginning July 1, 2024 guests will have the opportunity to have an unforgettable experience with this home away from home feeling at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. These new cabins are a part of the Disney Vacation Club, meaning the Disney Vacation Club members will be able to reserve these first, and have this be their home resort.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort offer families, of up to 6 guests, a comfy place to stay with all of the amenities. Full bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and living area are just a few of the highly sought after amenities for families traveling.
One reason that so many guests visit Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is for the dining option, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This upbeat dinner experience is fun for guests of all ages and will have everyone in the room swinging their napkin above their head! This year the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue will be celebrating its 50th anniversary!
Something that I think is a hidden gem of activity and experience that guests may not know about is Tri-Circle D Ranch that is also located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Here, guests will see the horses that are used throughout the parks for different activities such as Headless Horseman’s steed. Also found here are the ponies that pull Cinderella’s carriage. Did you know that you can also reserve a horseback ride on the trails here at Tri-Circle D Ranch? The ranch also offers pony rides as a walk-in option.
While camping or glamping at the resort, there are so many outdoor activities to take part in. Guests can kayak or canoe in the river, and even fish for bass. Fishing is offered year round and is catch and release. Have you ever wanted to learn how to shoot archery? There is a family friendly class for that at the resort!
To finish off an adventurous day, you can join Chip and Dale at a Campfire Sing-Along. Roasting marshmallows, singing along to songs, and even a Disney movie viewing in the great wilderness that happens each night. S'mores kits can be purchased at the Chuckwagon Snack Bar or can be brought from your own supplies.
