A brand new area at Universal Studios Orlando has opened, and it was created for the kids and the kids at heart! DreamWorks Land has taken over the previous Woody Woodpecker’s Kid Zone where guests would enjoy A Day in the Park with Barney, Curious George Goes To Town, and Wood Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster. Let’s see what has been happening and ready for your family to enjoy during their next visit to Universal Orlando Resort!

For the smaller guests, Poppy's Playground is the perfect place to take a break with some shade and let the kids run. Discover Universal Blog notes that there are faces of the Trolls members inside the flowers around the area.
Trolls Trollercoaster is a fun filled adventure of Trolls characters like Poppy, Little Diamond, and the twins, Satin and Chenille. Board the Caterbus to escape the spiders and their webs.
Do you want to meet some of your favorite characters? Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey are meeting guests in the swamp. Shrek also has an interactive play area for the little ogres, Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres. Slides, climbing structures, and even Pinocchio is there to keep the fun moving!
A place to hop, skip, and jump is at King Harold’s Swamp Symphony. As you step on the lily pads, the frogs on the log sing a tune.
Over at the DreamWorks Character Zone, you will find fan favorites like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse, and others that will rotate throughout the day!

Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp has two sides to the area, a wet interactive play area and a dry play area. The pandas are washing and drying their laundry on the wet side of the park, but be on the lookout for some splashes coming from little pandas above. The dry area contains Mr. Ping’s Noodle Kaboodle, where you can enjoy a spin in a noodle bowl.
There are two new shows inside DreamWorks Land. Inside DreamWorks Theater, DreamWorks Imagination Celebration will take guests on a journey to show the power of imagination. Characters like Shrek, Po, Poppy, and Branch come to life to help the journey of Zayne and Amara believe in imagination again. This runs about 20 minutes in length.
The second show is Po Live! Join Po from Kung Fu Panda for a kung fu training you haven’t experienced before. A special guest, Ling Ling, Po’s little cousin makes an appearance as Po is babysitting. Let’s add cooking to the list, and you have the best kung fu training Po can provide! This show is about 12 minutes, and runs every 15 minutes.
After all of the play time inside DreamWorks Land, you will definitely need a snack. Swamp Snacks and Trolls Treats will have the perfect options for those with an appetite of an Ogre or a sweet Troll. Swamp Snacks will feature items like the Shrekzel, Mud Puddle Pudding, and a Swamp Dog. The Shrekzel is a pretzel shaped like Shrek, yes it’s adorable! Trolls Treats will feature menu items like ice cream that looks like troll hair with just as fun flavors!
