The Dominican Republic Iberostar complex consists of 5 resorts both family friendly and adult only properties!
The top property is the adult only Iberostar Grand Bavaro! This property has access to all 5 resorts in the complex. It is great for those who want to take a family extended vacation as the grandparents can have some quiet time to themselves but still head over to be with their children and grandchildren at any point! This resort has 3 amazing pools, one with a swim up bar and lots of seating with chairs and cabanas. There are 7 amazing dining options to name some, Japanese, Mediterranean, and Surf & Turf were high on my list! The drinks were always on point at the bars as well. Also when staying here you have access to the golf course on property for an extra charge of $79 per day. Last but not least this resort is an all butler resort with over 270 rooms!
The next resort is a family friendly resort Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Bavaro! This property has access to 4 resorts within the complex. It is an exclusive part of the resort with its own private check in area and some of the most desired room locations including over 160 suites! It has 2 pools, a restaurant with a la carte menu, and you get upgraded amenities staying at the Coral Level. There is also a coral reef laboratory right on site that was great to go check out after lunch in the afternoon.
At Iberostar Selection Bavaro a family friendly resort there are over 600 suites to fit you and your families needs! You will have access to 3 of the resorts staying here. This property has a great pool and fantastic waterpark area for the kids to play! It has 6 different dining options to choose from and plenty of bars to find a great drink at. They have a wonderful little shopping strip at the property as well to take a nice stroll around.
The last 2 properties within the complex are family friendly sister properties Iberostar Punta Cana & Iberostar Dominicana! Punta Cana is made up of over 400 rooms and Dominicana has over 500 rooms. These 2 resorts share all their amenities with each other as well as the other 3 properties. They are mirror image resorts and you can not go wrong staying at either one! There is a small casino onsite and I had a great time here one evening during my trip… I didn’t win but I didn’t lose and I had a great hour playing and socializing with others. Each of the properties have a great pool for all to relax at and 6 dining restaurants to choose from.
These 5 Dominican Republic Iberostar resorts have so much to offer for families and for adults to the waterpark, kids clubs, nightly entertainment, golfing, relaxing on the soft 9 miles of white sandy beach or at the spas! There is something for everyone to experience in the Dominican Republic Iberostar resorts.
