Disneyland is where the magic happens, and now even more magic will has been announced. On January 30, 2024, guests will no longer be staying at Disneyland's Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests will now be staying at Pixar Place Hotel where everyone’s favorite Pixar characters will come to life, especially the Pixar ball and lamp!

On a recent trip to Disneyland, I took a stroll through the lobby and new pool area of the hotel to see first hand the new improvements. While there were still obvious signs of construction, the already finished upgrades were breathtaking.
On top of the beautiful refurbishment that the hotel has undergone, there will also be a new restaurant called Great Maple, and we have a first look at the menu! The menu offerings are described as upscale comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Just a few menu items include; Soda Pop Braised Spare Ribs, Maple Pecan Crusted Salmon, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Maple Bacon Doughnuts. I think those will be some of the fan favorites being served. One of the menu items that I am looking forward to trying is the Cajun Shrimp & Cheddar Biscuit Benedict, yum!

Sketch Pad Cafe, a quick grab and go option will also be available shortly after the launch of the refurbished hotel. They will offer guests pastries, coffees, and teas. Will you be hanging by the pool all day? Be sure to check out Small Bytes, the rooftop pool bar! Here guests will find a variety of cheese plates, sandwich wraps, and salads. Plus they will be offering their signature cocktails.

Heading back inside, the newly renovated rooms look adorable! With Pixar pals as the main focus, the wall directly behind the beds will feature a mural of scenes from many Pixar films.

There are so many cute little details that have been placed inside Pixar Place Hotel. The gym features a mural of Mike and Sully running on the treadmills from Monsters University. The gift shop is named STOR-E, like Wall-E. And there are fire pits with character faces as the base around the pool area featuring plenty of seating for the entire family to gather around.
This resort is a “must visit” once it reopens. I cannot wait to see the new rooms in person! Your Marvelous Mouse Travels agent is ready to book your stay. Contact them today!
