2025 brings The Happiest Place on Earth an amazing milestone, its 70th Anniversary! Yes, Disneyland Resort will be 70 years old. The magic continues and grows with each passing day, making it better than ever! With all of that said, we now have the official guide to the celebration and what to expect inside the parks. The dates of Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will kick off on May 16, 2025. There will be an entire year to celebrate and Disneyland Resort announced it will run through summer 2026! During this time, guests can expect to experience limited-time merchandise options, entertainment, and of course, exclusive food and beverage options!

Inside Disney California Adventure Park, guests line up for “World of Color” each and every time it shows. For the holiday season there is a special version, and for the celebration there will also be a different version, “World of Color Happiness.” The performance will be hosted by Joy and the other emotions from “Inside Out.” Other movies that are represented are “A Goofy Movie,” “Turning Red,” “The Lion King,” and so many more!
Just like at Disney California Adventure Park, Disneyland Park offers a special nighttime spectacular. This one is set on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and will be called “Wondrous Journey.” Music, projections, and fireworks tell the story of the magic of Disneyland along with the films that create the magic.
Returning for the celebration is the “Paint the Night” Parade. Tinker Bell and Mickey Mouse join forces to bring the lights and characters down Main Street U.S.A.. Pals from various Disney and Pixar films will make an appearance with the millions of LED lights that help “paint the night.”
The final entertainment that has been announced will be the return of the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” inside Disney California Adventure Park. Join Pixar characters from “Turning Red,” “Toy Story,” “Luca,” and more (over 30 characters) as they parade their way through the park for this daytime parade. The music is catchy, so you will be singing it the rest of the day.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends will debut a new outfit that matches the theme of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! The castle also receives a makeover and will feature a new medallion.
