The holidays are getting ready to be in full swing at Disneyland Resort and with the Official Foodie Guide released for the Holidays at Disneyland Resort 2024, we are just now counting down the days. The Holidays at Disneyland Resort will be hustling and bustling from November 15, 2024 through January 6, 2025. Let’s review the guide and see what is new to the Disneyland holiday menus and maybe some popular options returning for the season!
First we will start with some quick service options located inside the parks, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Disneyland Park is very nostalgic for most guests as it holds fond memories of the films they enjoyed in their childhood. It also brings a restaurant in a film to life, like Alien Pizza Planet! Here guests will find three new menu items for the holiday season. The first item is a Chicken Al Pastor Pizza, purchased by the slice, features al pastor-marinated chicken with a spiced red sauce, mozzarella cheese, roasted corn, and a drizzle of crema and tomatillo sauce. The second item pairs well with the slice of pizza, the Holiday Green Drink is an apple flavored beverage that is topped with cold foam and holiday sprinkles. The third and final item is the perfect way to end a meal, an Alien Reindeer Macaron is the same amazing macaron shell that is always available, but it is filled with a salted caramel buttercream and a center of chocolate ganache with brownie pieces.
Another location that will bring back memories is inside of Toontown. Cafe Daisy has an adorable menu everyday, but the holiday season brings a new sweet Peppermint S’mores Hot Chocolate which featured a creamy hot chocolate with a peppermint syrup then topped with whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, and finally mini marshmallows, pieces of crushed candy canes, and a graham cracker dusting.
Continuing on the peppermint path, Galactic Grill has a new Darth by Peppermint coming to the menu. A chocolate sponge cake is layered with chocolate pudding, and a peppermint mousse. It is then topped with chocolate pearl crunchies, cookies and cream crumbles, and a chocolate Darth Vader with red lightsaber pieces.
Gibson Ice Cream Parlor received the memo on the holiday season and has added a new Peppermint Cold Brew Float to the menu. A Joffrey’s Cold Brew is paired with peppermint ice cream and topped with whipped cream. The parlor is also dishing up a Peppermint Holiday Sundae that features two scoops of peppermint ice cream and topped with whipped cream, crushed peppermint pieces, and chocolate cookies filled with cream placed to resemble Mickey ears.
A favorite location for all things delicious, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe has an array of offerings for the holiday season with five new menu items and quite a few returning. Mickey Mouse received a new cookie on the menu this year, the Christmas Mickey-Shaped Cookie is the same delicious shortbread cookie used for the Halloween Mickey Bat and dipped in white chocolate that features holiday sprinkles and a chocolate Mickey. The next item is a Banana Bundt Cake which is a banana cake that has a filling of dulce de leche then topped with a cream cheese frosting and a dash of sprinkles. A Chocolate-Coffee Loaf is the next item and has a chocolate cream filling then topped with a chocolate crunchy shell and an adorable red and gold Mickey chocolate logo. The final two new menu items are a Cookies and Cream Cheesecake that features a red and green mousse that looks like a poinsettia plant, and a Crispy Chocolate-dipped Croissant what is made with pieces of corn cereal and a Bavarian cream filling.

A highly recommended dining location is Plaza Inn, and reservations are suggested if it is a must do on your list. With three sweet treats added to the menu, it is definitely worth the reservation during your stay. An Apple Pecan Cream Cheese Bundt Cake is baked to perfection and topped with chantilly cream and pecans. It is finished off with a buttercream with glaze and adorable chocolate gingerbread person. The next slice is of Peppermint Cake that is made with a white cake that has been soaked in a peppermint simple syrup and layers of chocolate ganache with peppermint mousse. A peppermint crunch and buttercream finish out the cake.
A sweet stop at Red Rose Taverne cannot be beat with the Christmas Stuff. The gray stuff turned holiday has a green-colored gray stuff mousse that is swirled upon a brown sugar cake and lingonberry jam and topping the “tree” with a white chocolate star.
A spin on a few foods takes place at Refreshment Corner. Santa’s Vacation Sausage Potato is a baked potato that is topped with pickled pineapple and teriyaki sauce then a mac salad. To pair with it, a Warm Spiced Apple Tea which features cinnamon and clove and a vanilla cream foam.
So many new choices at Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace, so little time. A Peppermint Chocolate Pot de Creme is plant based and served in a tin. Also in a tin is a Pear Cobbler that is topped with streusel. A naughty and nice option both come to the menu with a Naughty Cookies and Cream Cake that is a brownie then topped with a cookie and cream mousse, ganache, and topped with cookie pieces. The Nice Strawberry Mousse Cake has a creme brulee center that is then topped with a hard chocolate shell and a chocolate bow.

There is also a new churro, Cranberry Churro, that features the amazing churro that is rolled in a cranberry-flavored sugar and is served with the citrus white chocolate dipping sauce.
Heading across the way, just a hop, skip, and a jump away is Disney California Adventure Park. During this time of the year, the park is hosting Disney Festival of Holidays, which has its own menu that we have reviewed in a different blog, be sure to check that one out too! Here we are going to touch on some menus that are not part of the Festival Food Marketplaces, and that are just served around the parks.
Up first is Aunt Cass Cafe, where amazing bread is on the menu. Three different bread options to be exact. All are made of sourdough, but shaped into sweet options. A Christmas Tree Pull-apart Sourdough, a Candy Cane Sourdough, and a Snowman Sourdough will be featured for the holiday season. These three sourdough breads can also be purchased at Boudin Bread Cart. Also in the area, Lucky Fortune Cookery has a new (and adorable) Santa Baymax Macaron. A filling of peppermint buttercream and chocolate ganache with dark chocolate crunchies make up this treat.
The Cozy Cones inside Cars Land always participate in the seasonal celebrations! At Cozy Cone Motel 1 guests can find a new churro! A Coffee Chip Churro has a cinnamon sugar dusting with a hint of coffee, then a coffee chip cream cheese frosting is drizzled on top with some chocolate pieces.
