For those guests who are visiting Disneyland in Anaheim, California early in 2024 there has been some exciting news for you! There will be new entertainment options making their way into Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. Let’s find out what these exciting options are, and where you need to be to see them.
For the holiday months the “Magic Happens” parade is postponed and “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” takes its place. In recent announcements, the “Magic Happens” parade will officially make its return on February 2, 2024. The musical, fun filled parade features Sorcerer Mickey, Anna and Elsa, Miguel, Moana, and so many more beloved characters! The parade route begins at the back of the park by “its a small world” and continues its way to the Sleeping Beauty Castle, then down Main Street U.S.A.
Also making its return for 2024 is “Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.” This will be the running nighttime show at Disney California Adventure Park, which will also be during Pixar Fest which begins April 26, 2024. Also making a debut on April 26th is “Better Together - A Pixar Pals Celebration.” This Pixar parade will also be at Disney California Adventure Park and only run for a short period of time.
There will also be two other nighttime spectaculars inside the parks during different times of the year. “Mickey’s Mix Magic” is super fun and upbeat, and showing from January 8th through March 21st and again from April 15th through April 25th. There will also be fireworks on select evenings, be sure to be on the lookout for that schedule in your Disneyland app if you are visiting during those times.
The second show that will be for a limited time is “Wondrous Journeys” which will only be shown from March 22nd through April 14th which will also have fireworks every night, weather permitting.
