The excitement of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary is beginning to buzz, and the parks are starting to fine tune the activities that are to be held. Of course, there will be exclusive merchandise, new entertainment, and an adventure-filled day in the parks. This also includes all of the dining! Disney Destinations have recently announced that there will be three new dining experiences coming to the Disneyland Parks and Resorts. Let’s see what we can expect in the coming months.
Up first is a dining experience that allows guests to enjoy a magical lunch and reserved viewing area for the special Paint the Night Parade. This experience will take place at Plaza Inn. The Paint the Night Dining Package, guests will enjoy a delightful lunch and then have a reserved seat for the special nighttime parade without the worry of finding a space early. This dining experience begins on May 16, 2025 but guests can begin reserving their dining on March 25, 2025. Valid park admission and park reservations for Disneyland Park will be required to enjoy this dining opportunity.
Next is a new mix on a current offering! Currently, Storytellers Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has a fun filled breakfast and brunch with Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet and Brunch. For the special anniversary there will be a “campfire-style barbeque buffet” as described by Disney Destinations. The Donald’s Tales of Adventure Buffet will feature items like spareribs, fried chicken, prime rib, plus sweet treats including a s’mores bread pudding. Donald, Daisy, and some of their friends will begin this dining experience on May 16, 2025.
The final all-new dining experience coming to Disneyland Resort for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary is at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. This Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering will offer reserved seating to guests with this dining experience inside Star Wars: Galaxy Edge. This nighttime spectacular that happens at Disneyland Park but can be seen from this part of the park called Fire of the Rising Moon. Reservations for this will begin on April 3, 2025.
