Are you traveling to Disneyland in 2024? If not, now is the time to start planning your next Disneyland experience. Disneyland 2024 events that will be happening in the parks have recently been announced. These events are seasonal and only offered for a limited time only. Let's find out what is happening at Disneyland in 2024!
First up is Lunar New Year! This celebration is held in the Disney California Adventure Park. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse join in the celebration with their festive attire. There will also be crafts and activities for the children, along with decor, food, and Mulan’s Lunar New Year Processional. The processional is filled with music, dancing, and characters as they parade their way through Hollywood Land to Pixar Pier. This event will run from January 23 through February 18, 2024.
The next event at Disneyland is Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Park. This celebration is only on two select days, February 17th & February 24th. On February 17th there will be a concert with Marvin Sapp as the headlining performance and on the 24th the headlining performance will be Tasha Cobbs. These performances will take place at the Fantasyland Theatre, and are at no additional cost to park visitors.
One event that many guests look forward to is next on the list. Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. With food, cooking demonstrations, and entertainment from March 1 through April 22nd, guests will want to spend multiple days exploring the park to experience all that is being offered.
Star Wars is not left out of the celebration, and while it does have its own day, it also has Star Wars Season of the Force! From April 5th through June 2nd, guests will be able to experience themed food, beverages, and merchandise! During the event run time there will be a special fireworks display at Disneyland Park!
The last few seasonal Disneyland 2024 events of the year are by far my favorite! Starting with Pixar Fest which runs from April 26th through August 4th, 2024. Menus offer limited time items, merchandise for the event will be available, and even a new parade will make its way down the streets, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” at Disney California Adventure Park. Inside Disneyland Park, there will also be a Pixar themed evening fireworks display called “Together Forever- A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.” It has been stated by Disney that there will also be new characters like Ember and Wade from “Elemental”, Red Panda Mei from “Turning Red”, and even more! Who would you like to see in the parks?
Halloween Time in the parks is the best! From the Fall decorations, the ginormous Mickey Pumpkin, and the special treats, it just can’t get much better. The Haunted Mansion has a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay, and the characters are sporting their halloween costumes. It is such a magical time to visit! Halloween in the parks runs from August 23 through October 31.
Also during the Halloween season in the parks is Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park. This celebration features the Dia de los Muertos traditions that are still celebrated today.
The last seasonal celebration of 2024 is Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The attraction overlays continue through this season, but the treats become holiday favorites and the characters change into their cold gear. Even the resorts decorate for the holidays with trees, lights, and one even has a gingerbread house!
