When planning a visit to Walt Disney World, one of the key components to planning is a budget. During 2020 when the resorts shut down, refurbishments were completed on some of the Value Resort rooms, and now those resorts have received a refreshment for food courts, gift shops, and lobby.
New murals are a spotlight of the All-Star resorts when walking through the main building. You cannot miss these new murals that are set between the gift shop and the food court. Disney’s All-Star Movies mural features silhouettes of characters on a red-carpet event with flashes of photography all around making you the star! Disney’s All-Star Music’s mural has you surrounded by the band performing for its guests with Mickey Mouse as the head conductor, and finally, at Disney’s All-Star Sports guests are “in” the hyped-up crowd of a sporting event.
For a few months, Disney’s All-Star Movies food court has been operating at half capacity during the refurbishment, and has finally pulled down the walls to present the movie theater like space with new chairs, tables, and wall updates.
All the while, over at Disney’s All-Star Sports, Goofy’s Gifts & Sundries received a facelift. The biggest change guests may notice is the floor, which may make you feel like you’re ready to play by stepping on to the court. If you look above the merchandise on the walls, Goofy has taken action in sports of all kinds with the graphics.
The other Value Resort that received a face lift is Disney’s Pop Century Resort, which is also one of the two Value Resort on the Disney Skyliner transportation. This fun and colorful resort has now become even more colorful with the fresh coat of paint and seating area. A brand new coffee shop will also join the addition, this can help start your day or even be that mid-day pick-me-up that you may need.
