Disney World Mask Updates

Over the last few days there have been many changes regarding masks and traveling. It has been announced that makes are no longer required on airplanes for domestic flights. But there are some airports and destinations that are still requiring masks at this time. Anyone traveling by air will need to check into the locations that are in their flight itineraries to make sure masks will not be needed.

This is not the only mask change that has taken place this week! Over the last few months masks rules and regulations have been changing progressively requiring them to be worn is less places. Today the Walt Disney World Resort has announced that masks will no longer be required. Currently the only areas they were still required to be worn was on the forms of transportation which included the monorail and buses.

It is still recommended that Guests who are not fully vaccinated continue to wear face masks while in indoor locations and in enclosed transportation. For a complete list of Walt Disney World’s current health and safety guidelines check the Know Before You Go page on DisneyWorld.com. These changes are currently only for the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. As of right now the other Walt Disney resorts and parks are still following the current health and safety procedures that have been in place. Any changes to these locations will be shared through the Know Before You Go page as stated above.  And again always check the airline and airport informational pages before flying to know their updated masks policies.
