One priority that the Walt Disney Company has always supported and made a priority is conservation of planet Earth. With April 22, 2023 being Earth Day, and the 25th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, I would not expect anything less than the stunning menu they have released in its celebration! This year's treats will have you buzzing! So many of the Earth Day treats are themed with the adorable little bumble bees, which are very important insects that help pollinate wildflowers and crops.
One thing I wish I had a trip planned for this month is the adorable Bee Hive Mousse Dome! The brownie base and honey mousse sounds delectable! You can find this treat at Creature Comforts through April 30, 2023. While you’re in there be sure to grab a coffee to keep your energy up for your fantastic park day!

Flame Tree Barbeque also never disappoints with the limited time offerings for special events and holidays! This month they have the cutest Flamingo Cupcake! It is a strawberry cupcake with a guava buttercream (yes, please!) topped with crispy pearls and a sugar flamingo head. This might be too cute to eat. The quick service restaurant located right in the heart of Discovery Island is also offering a new beverage, which can also be made into an adult beverage. The Bubbling Pink Lagoon is a refreshing strawberry lemonade, topped with a splash of Sprite, and a dash of kiwi flavoring. This beverage is perfect for the mid-day break in the parks. These two offers will also be available through April 30, 2023.
While there are so many more options to choose from in the parks, you wouldn’t want to fill up on so many sweets! For those that are not a fan of the sweet offerings, there are quite a few savory snacks as well. Head over to Terra Treats for a plant based Roasted Mushroom & Leek Pizza.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge also has a sweet and savory offering at Sanaa and The Mara if you are not heading into the parks but would like to try a Cactus Cake or Chaat. The Cactus Cake is chocolate cake with a peanut butter filling, topped with green buttercream resembling a cactus. Chaat is a plant based option featuring seasonal vegetable variety grown at The Land in EPCOT, how amazing is that?
There is still a few weeks before these amazing Earth Day treats go away for the season, but book your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation package now! Not able to make it before April is over?
