Can’t decide between a Walt Disney World vacation or a Disney Cruise Line vacation? Don’t! Combine both into one seamless trip by booking your land and sea Disney vacation with a Marvelous Mouse Travel Agent.

If you’re not quite sure cruises are right for you, or if you can’t fathom being that close to the Magic Kingdom and not stopping for a Dole Whip or a ride on Space Mountain, a combo trip is the perfect option.
With a combo trip, you can mix and match experiences. Maybe the kids start with character breakfasts at Disney World, and then relax on the cruise while parents enjoy spa treatments or adult-only dining. Cruises also offer themed activities, youth clubs, and entertainment for all ages, so every family member can have their perfect Disney moment.
Disney Cruise Line currently has some great offers on shorter cruises, like 3- and 4-night sailings, which pair perfectly with a Disney World stay. These trips give you the best of both worlds! Here are some things to consider when booking a Disney World and Disney Cruise combo trip.
A Walt Disney World vacation is jam-packed with fun and excitement, but it can also be, well, jam-packed! Because this segment tends to be the busiest, I always suggest starting with that leg of your trip. That way, you can end your vacation on a relaxing note — watching the waves from your balcony deck and enjoying the beach at Castaway Cay. You will return home relaxed, recharged, and full of magic!

To get the most out of a land and sea vacation, you really need at least six days. While shorter trips can work, to fully experience both locations you’ll need at least six days. Pair 3-4 days at Disney World with a 3-4 day cruise for the ultimate Disney vacation.
The worst part of combining types of vacations can be the logistics and the schlepping. But your agent and Disney will make sure that part is hassle-free! If you stay at an onsite Disney resort, your luggage will be picked up from your room and delivered directly to your stateroom onboard the ship. No need to lift a finger!

You will also be taken to the ship directly from the front desk area of the resort, so there is no navigating or dealing with Central Florida traffic. After your cruise, book any flight after 2 pm, and Disney will drop you off directly at the airport. They can also take you back to a Disney resort if you’re not quite done with the magic.
There are a lot of moving pieces and logistics when it comes to this type of vacation. Let a trained professional handle it! Your agent will work with you to conceptualize the perfect itinerary, coordinate transfers, manage tickets, and make sure your trip flows seamlessly from start to finish.
