Disney Treasure Revealed

X marks the spot on the treasure map, and the digging has some of the areas onboard of the newest Disney Treasure revealed. There really was not any digging involved, just a ton of speculation and then impatiently waiting for the announcement, but you get the point.

As guests enter the Grand Hall, they will notice the deep, rich colors of blues and golds lining the walls, carpets, and staircase. As Aladdin and Jasmine “soar” on the Magic Carpet guests will also spot the magical lamp at the base of the staircase.

The activities hall for family entertainment during the day, and adult entertainment in the evening, has been named Sarabi and themed after Disney’s “The Lion King.” This event space is two stories and decorated beautifully themed after the savanna.

A bright and delightful space, Jumbeaux’s Sweets, will be serving ice cream. This new space is designed after Disney’s “Zootopia” with Judy Hopps and Nick Wild enjoying an ice cream sundae.

New dining experiences will also be introduced to the newest ship, while some return from the sister ship, Disney Wish. The rotational dining will also be featured like all of the other ships as well.  Continued on the fleet is 1923, the elegant dining experience named after the year Walt Disney Animations was founded. Worlds of Marvel will also be in the rotational dining on the Disney Treasure, with Spider-Man making an appearance.

Disney Treasure Revealed Super Hero Academy

The new dining experience Plaza de Coco, will feature live entertainment and themed after the film “Coco.” The story featured at dinner takes place after the movie and continues the journey of Miguel. Music, singing, dancing, and food will bring the entire family together for a night full of fun.

Continuing our adventure through the ship, it has been announced that “Beauty and the Beast” Broadway production will be featured as part of the live entertainment taking place in The Walt Disney Theatre. It was also announced that an original Broadway production will have a place on the stage as well. “Disney Seas the Adventure” will also be performed at the theater, which can currently also be found on the Disney Wish.

Did you know that aboard Disney Cruise Line, there are movie theaters? These theaters are included with your cruise, and often show new films. Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas will also have a place to show new films and ones that follow the theme of the evening.

Disney Treasure Revealed Toy Story Splash Area

Enjoying the sun and pools are one of my favorite activities on a cruise. The upper deck of the Disney Treasure will feature seven different pools throughout and even the AquaMouse, which has been craftily themed Curse of the Golden Egg. Follow along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they journey through a temple looking for treasure. For the littles, a Toy Story themed area will be on the upper pool deck featuring a splash area for the toddlers and young children. Also in the family area will be a waterslide and a smoothie bar!

Traveling without children or maybe checking the kids into the kids club? Be sure to check out the adult only area featured onboard. Disney Cruise Line knows how to create an adult space and magic it as magical as possible. Periscope Pub is designed after “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” which was a previous attraction at Walt Disney World. The decor is submarine style. Another adult area that has been announced is a Jungle Cruise themed lounge. The Skipper Society is very neutral in color and looks very much like the attraction. It also seems that the jokes have passed from the attraction to the lounge, which I am beyond excited for! Will there be a drink named the backside of water? I sure hope so!

For the adult exclusive dining, Palo Steakhouse, Enchante and The Rose have also made their way to the Disney Treasure. These three areas are themed after “Beauty and the Beast.”

Staterooms will also be full of adventurous details. Concierge level staterooms will be artfully decorated as “The Lion King.” The Royal Suites are designed after “The Jungle Book” with the Bagheera Royal suites and then the ones themed by “Aladdin” with the Rajah Royal Suites. Both types of suites will have access to a sun deck dedicated solely to Suite and Concierge guests.

While there are so many more spaces to explore that have not been announced yet. We are all looking forward to see what other announcements come regarding this fabulous ship.
