Summer vacation is upon us. Other than the special events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it has been a decent amount of time since Disney’s Magic Kingdom has had a nighttime parade. This will all change come July 20, 2025 when “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” debuts for the very first time.
Floats, of course there will be floats and beautifully decorated! Disney Imagineers use new technology for the lighting to allow movement of the images on the floats. Our pal Goofy leads the finale of the parade in his train float, and it seems that Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse.

What is a parade without dancing? But dancing is not the same without the magical music. An all new song was written specifically for this parade. Disney Destinations states that the song “truly embodies all the majestic and fantasy feelings you get when watching a parade come down Main Street U.S.A.” This honestly could not be more of a true statement regarding parades. The magic you feel as you sit along the parade route watching some of your favorite characters come by while dancing is like nothing else.
We all love a good merchandise drop! “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will have its own merchandise line. New items will include Mickey Ears, of course, that feature Mickey Mouse on one ear and Tinker Bell on the other. There will also be a pin, a blanket, and a new bubble wand.
