It has been quite some time since Walt Disney World has had a regular nighttime parade. Of course, there is the Boo To You Parade at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Once Upon A Christmastime Parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Those however are special ticket events, which will likely be announced soon, so be sure to get on the list with your Marvelous Mouse Travels agent to be one of the firsts to know. But an actual parade that happens in the evening is coming to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and we have a first look at the floats and the characters that will be present during this magical moment found this summer with “Disney Starlight”.
We have the official poster of the new parade and it features Cinderella and Prince Charming, Moana, Coco, Elsa, the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan and Wendy, and even Cinderella Castle. All of these characters are surrounded by swirls of magic from the Blue Fairies wand.

The very first float that will head the new parade features the gorgeous Blue Fairy, from Pinocchio. As she waves her magic wand lit with a star at the very tip, guests are welcomed to make a wish upon the star.
Disney Destinations chats about is the new “Coco” float! Featuring Mariachi music, Miguel, and even a gigantic Pepita, the bright colors and moving music will have guests on their feet. They also state that there will be Sugar Skull fireworks, and I have big hopes for this amazing float.
We also will have a float full of family coming down Main Street as the Encanto float brings Mirabel, Bruno, and for the first time in the park, Isabela which used her powers to create the floral swing that she rests upon.
The sea is calling and Moana answers with her float in “Disney Starlight”. Waves illuminate and guide her boat for the parade. It also seems that Moana has brought some friends like Pua, Hei Hei, and even Gramma Tala to join her.
There will also be a shared Princess float where guests can expect to see Aurora and Prince Philip, Tiana with Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and last but not least, Cinderella and Prince Charming. Disney Destinations also has announced that that the Royal Court dancers is a reference to a previous nighttime parade “Main Street Electrical Parade.”
