Disney Destinations takes the holidays and makes them even more magical! There is no exception to that, and that includes Disney Springs. While the area does not require reservations, a park ticket, or anything extra, guests can spend an entire day there shopping, dining, and experiencing the magic of the holidays which will run through December 30, 2023.
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by Advent Health is a beautiful way to spend time in the area. Throughout the path guests will find 19 trees decorated with characters from all of the franchises, including the newest film, “Wish” which was released in theaters on November 22, 2023. A new addition to the Christmas Tree Stroll is the six interactive trees. The Disney MagicBand+ will offer surprises on those selected trees, one of which is themed after Disney’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Also available for a fun time is the complimentary maps that can be found at select dining and shopping locations. Matching stickers to the tree locations and returning the map will earn guests a special little surprise!
Disney Springs is also one of the places that offers a free visit with Santa. From now until his big night, December 24th, guests can join a virtual queue to receive the visit with Santa at Once Upon a Toy. This experience is subject to availability.
Did you know that your Disney Memory Maker is also valid at Disney Springs? There is even a Disney PhotoPass Studio located there where guests can take advantage of multiple holiday photo backdrops that appear in your account.
There is no lack of entertainment at Disney Springs on a regular day, but during the Holiday season guests are in for a special treat! With snowfall scheduled every night near the Town Center Tree, magical stilt walkers, a Santa Sleigh DJ, and even rollerblading snowflakes that are lit up, there are surprises around almost every corner!
With over 60 dining options located at Disney Springs, there will always be something for everyone! One very popular location is Jock Lindsay’s Holiday Bar. The festive decor and delightful drinks bring families together for a quick bite, but they leave in a whole new holiday spirit. And what is Disney Springs known for? Shopping, that’s what! Many retail locations are carrying holiday collections right now, and it all makes for the perfect gift.
