As discussed in a previous blog Walt Disney parks are going to be putting on a wonderful and royal celebration to honor some of the most iconic princesses from their movies. Throughout the week different princesses will be showcased through the parks, through merchandise, entertainment and even some wonderful treats will be prepared. Not only will there be fun events planned for the domestic parks, but also Adventures by Disney will be honoring some of the very special heroins of their stories from their counties of origin by spotlighting Disney princess inspiration destinations!
Disney princess stories have been inspired by different counties around the world. Adventures by Disney is an amazing international with some domestic travel option that allows guests to experiences the culture of these different countries.
Starting in Southeast Asia which inspired the land of Kumandra; which is home to Princess Raya, from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Raya and the Last Dragon.” Guests can experience Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, on a Private adventure which includes diverse stories and history of Southeast Asia. This even includes a walking tour through Ancient Hoi An, a tuk-tuk excursion through Angkor Archaeological Park, and Tai Chi class. Next on over to Scotland, the wild haired red head, Merida Princess of DunBoch. Guests can see sites such as Edinburgh Castle, Loch Ness and Bogbain Farm. But the most exciting part is the archery class where you can put your skills to the test and maybe “shoot for your own hand.”

Head on over to Norway where guests can “Let it Go” as they journey through the fjords and glaciers. This is the home of Princess Anna and Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Guests can take majestic boating and bikinis excursions to really explore the lands of Norway.
Pop on over to France where everyone’s favorite bookworm, Belle, lives. Her story is originated in France and all the beauty from the movie and live action film can be captured while on one of the Adventures by Disney experiences here. Guests have options such as River Cruise, Private Adventure or Land Adventure. Some of the amazing sights include a private tour of The Louvre, walking and biking through the Garden of Versailles and dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Let’s not forget about our friend up in her tower! Rapunzel and her beautiful locks flowing golden in the sun! Did you know that Belle isn’t the only princess that originates from France? Aurora from Sleeping Beauty does as well! On this Adventure guests will get to experience Disneyland Paris and see magnificent Sleeping Beauty Castle! But be careful this castle is the home to a dreadful dragon! Lastly, we fly on over to China to visit the strong and independent Mulan! Her story of bravery and honor to her family is beyond inspiring! Guests will get to see wildlife, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing and a few more extraordinary cities.
