The exciting event of Disney Jollywood Nights is returning for the 2024 holiday season. This year brings new entertainment, dining options, and more! The event kicks off on Saturday November 9, 2024 and will be held on select evenings throughout mid-December. The time for the event is 7:30 pm to 12:30 am, and with this comes lower wait times for attractions plus the chance to meet characters. Are you ready to find out what else is in store for this special event?
Starting off strong with a brand new entertainment option! “Glisten!” - An All-New Skating Spectacular is held right inside Disney Hollywood Studios, and right on Hollywood Boulevard. Who knew that there could be ice skating in the sunny Orlando, Florida? The show is held several times each night, and is performed by international champion skaters. The shows soundtrack does include a few original songs and some Disney classics like “Be Our Guests” and “When You Wish Upon A Star.”
Continuing on with the excitement, Kermit and Miss Piggy are hosting “Disney Holiday in Hollywood.” Held inside Theater of the Stars, guests will experience “contemporary jazz flair meets the classic charm of vintage Hollywood” as stated by Disney Destinations. Also noted in the show will be surprises guests like Tiana, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Belle. The characters will perform a few holiday songs that will keep the audience singing along.
This next one I am beyond excited for! Tim Burton’s THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Sing-Along inside Hyperion Theater. The show takes place in scenes throughout the film with the amazing soundtrack. Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie are said to make an appearance.
If you’re looking for a chance to show off some dance moves, there are quite a few options this year! Jose Carioca and Panchito, from The Three Caballeros, join in on Holiday Fiesta en al Calle at Animation Courtyard. Here guests can find Latin street fair music brought to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For something different, guests can join Frozone and Edna Mode from the “Incredibles,” Joy from “Inside Out,” and other Pixar characters with this Pixar-themed Dance Party.
Maybe you want something a little more relaxed, look no further than The Tip Top Club at The Hollywood Tower Hotel or the Hollywood Brown Derby. The Tip Top Club has vintage cocktails and music while the Hollywood Brown Derby has Jazzy Holidays. With the Jazzy Holidays come seasonal bites and beverages.
Mid-evening, guests can gather around The Chinese Theater to experience “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” which is returning for another year! The elves from “Prep & Landing” take guests on a journey to the North Pole with lasers, music, and fireworks! “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” takes place at 10 pm, weather permitting.
Did you know that Disney PhotoPass is included with your ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights. You will need it with the amount of characters you are bound to see. Characters like Phineas and Ferb, Santa Stitch, and even Santa Duffy are making appearances. It is also noted that Bo Peep and Lotso will be inside Toy Story Land and The Madalorian will be inside Star Wars: Galaxy Edge.
At the end of the joyful evening, guests will receive a special gift when exiting the park. In a Kermit and Miss Piggy themed box, guests will find six Wondermade marshmallows in the flavor of champagne. What a wonderful way to end an enchanted evening.
