The Disney Fantasy debuted in 2012 as part of the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It went through a dry dock refurbishment in 2017, which brought new areas to the kids club, new shopping areas, and updates throughout the ship. Now, roughly eight years later, another refurbishment is set for later this year to update and upgrade more spaces of the ship.
A very popular Concierge category debuted on the Disney Wish, then added to the Disney Dream, Disney Treasure, and now will be added to the Disney Fantasy! The Concierge Tower Suites have taken over the category of 1A and consist of a 2-story suite that is inside the forward signature red funnel on top of the ship. Think penthouse of the cruise line.
For the Disney Fantasy, the theme has been announced as Disney’s Fantasia, with the scene of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” being the main theme. The suite can accommodate up to eight guests with two main bedrooms, queen-sized murphy bed in the library, and a room dedicated to the children with bunks. The suite features 4 full bathrooms and a half bath.
The Concierge Fantasy Tower Suite will be available for bookings beginning on sailings from December 4, 2025 forward. There is only one suite available per sailing, so it will likely go very quickly.
There are other parts of the ship that will also receive some updates during this refurbishment. In addition to the poolside offerings on the Disney Fantasy, Luigi’s Pizza, Tow-Mater’s Grill, and Fillmore’s Favorites, and now there will be poolside tacos and bowls with Ramone’s Cantina.
Senses Spa, the most relaxing area onboard, will also receive some new updates on select spaces. Edge, the tween club for ages 11-14, will be moving to Deck 5 and feature new additions.
