Disney Destiny Dining Menus Released!

Disney Cruise Line turns dinner into a destination with their rotational dining inside their Main Dining locations. The transformation as you enter the area takes guests to lands they have never seen before. While each ship has three locations that guests rotate throughout their stay, some locations take guests into another realm. Disney Wish has Arendelle from “Frozen,” Disney Treasure has Plaza de Coco from “Coco,” Disney Dream and Magic have Rapunzel's Royal Table from “Tangled,” Disney Fantasy has Enchanted Garden, Disney Wonder has Tiana’s Place from “Princess and the Frog” and Triton’s from “The Little Mermaid."

Although the locations above are all fabulous in their own way, nothing looks like it will beat dinner and a show on the upcoming Disney Destiny! The menus of their dining locations and lounges have been released, and I cannot wait to go through them.

The “dinner and a show” location for the Disney Destiny features the beloved setting of the Pride Lands with “The Lion King” leading the way for entertainment with Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. Hear the story of Simba and his journey of the film through storytellers similar to those in The Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There will be live musicians performing the hit songs from the film, so be ready to sing along. If guests are to dine here for a second time during their sailing, the menu will be different for the second experience. As for the menu, items like Nala’s Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Pan-seared Berbere-spriced Roasted Chicken, Cape Malay Shrimp Curry, and Heirloom Tomato Kachumbari will be featured. For the sweet treats a Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding will be there. A favorite for the adults will be the exclusive cocktails like Can You Feel the Rum Tonight? There is also a Slimy Yet Satisfying beverage that is suitable for guests of all ages, and you guessed it, it is topped with centipede and work gummies!

While that is the only different rotational dining experience onboard, the other two locations are known and loved for their experience. 1923 and Worlds of Marvel will also be onboard the Disney Destiny. 1923 is themed after the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, and Worlds of Marvel features an immersive venue and get to play along with the show. Keep your eyes peeled as a special appearance may be made.

As far as lounges on the Disney Destiny, we know that De Vil’s is themed after the one and only Cruella de Vil. The venue is featured as a piano bar, but we have also seen that the lovely Cruella may be making appearances every now and then. She of course has to show off her furs. The signature cocktail here seems to be the Fashionista. The cocktail features freeze-dried strawberries with a banana-infused tequila and served with a side of strawberry shortcake flavored popcorn.

One location that hasn’t seen much limelight is The Sanctum, which is a Dr. Strange themed lounge. Decor and theming of this location is everything. Shapes, symbols, and objects from the film franchise are represented throughout the lounge. There will be tableside experiences with certain beverages and there will also be an exclusive menu featuring Stuffed Waffles with custard cream and Stuffed Waffles with mixed berry compote. The signature drinks here is a Circle of the Cosmos and Vapors or Valtorr, which features berry flavored bubbles on top.

One location that all guests can experience, at an additional cost, is Edna Á La Mode Sweets. Setting the scene, the front window shows a display of the latest suits designed by Edna for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. Inside, the sweet smell of cookies and ice cream greet your senses as you stroll to a Jack-Jack sculpture to take a photo. The fun doesn’t stop there! The menu features ice cream, candies, character inspired cupcakes, and even handmade gelato. We cannot forget the delectable Jack-Jack Cookie! There’s no mistaking the character cupcakes as Edna Á La Mode Cupcake features a Edna chocolate piece on top. Violet’s Cupcake has a purple mirror glaze, while Elastigirl’s Cupcake has an orange chocolate velvet finish. The final character cupcake is of course Mr. Incredible’s Cupcake and has an Incredible chocolate medallion on top. There will also be film inspired cookies. Edna Á La Mode Shortbread Cookie. Edna Á La Mode Chocolate Bark Postcard, and Edna Á Mode Cookies & Cream Cookie will also be available for purchase.

While there are so many other dining options and venues that will be available, these are something to buzz about in the meantime. If you are new to Disney Cruise Line or even an experienced sailor, reach out to Marvelous Mouse Travels to experience top notch travel planning services!
