Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney Changes

Changes are being made to many cruise lines' protocols. Disney has made changes to not only their cruise line policies, but also to their Adventures by Disney policies as well.

Adventures by Disney

For Adventures by Disney trips booked through March 31, 2023, Disney is temporarily extending final payment until 65 days prior to the start of the trip. This means guests who have not yet made their final payment have the option to wait until 65 days prior to traveling to pay for their vacation.

Disney is also relaxing their Adventure cancellation fee schedule for currently-booked trips departing on or before March 31, 2023 as follows:

65 days or more                                                            Deposit per Guest*

64 – 46 days                                                                 50% of vacation price per Guest

45 days or less                                                              100% of vacation price per Guest

*Nonrefundable after the earlier of the end of the 14-day grace period and the receipt of the executed Adventure Travel Agreement (unless otherwise stated on the Guest Confirmation)

Please note that this only applies to land-based departures and excludes the following:

  • Antarctica Expedition – 12/20/22, 12/30/22, 2/13/23
  • Arctic Expedition – 6/19/23, 7/10/23
  • Galapagos Expedition – 7/10/22, 8/7/22, 12/18/22, 3/19/23, 6/11/23, 7/12/23, 8/2/23, 12/17/23
  • Buenos Aires Escape –12/18/22, 12/28/22, 2/11/23
  • All River Cruises
  • All Private Adventures

Disney Cruise Line

As for Disney Cruise Line, the Cruise Date Flexibility has been extended. For sailings scheduled before May 31, 2022, guests can change their sail date up to 15 days prior to departure.

Disney Cruise Line is working diligently to protect their cast members and guests by following safety protocols. Please refer to the “Know Before You Go” page to have up-to-the-minute information regarding policies. Beginning January 13, 2022, guests ages 5 and over must be fully vaccinated. All unvaccinated guests will need to provide a negative Covid test taken 3 days to 24 hours before departure. Also all guests are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test at the terminal before boarding. Guests ages 2 and up will be required to wear face masks indoors except while actively eating or drinking.
