What makes going on a Disney Cruise so special? Travel agents get asked that all the time! We could go down the list, but let’s talk about one of the top ones: CHARACTERS!
There are so many opportunities to meet some of your favorite Disney Characters on a Disney Cruise, but specifically on the Disney Wish.
Let’s talk where you can meet these characters! A lot of the characters are going to be found in the atrium (Decks 3, 4, and 5). They will also be close to the gangways near the theaters, and by the shops on board. We also were fortunate to find some characters in the kids’ club and walking around as well!
Now you can also see some these characters during shows like the Sail Away Party and Pirates on Deck Party!
What’s amazing about a Disney Cruise is the Disney Navigator App! This helps all your scheduling needs! You will be able to see each day which character will be out at each time. There will also be a location on where that character will be meeting!
Did you also know, that Disney has their own personal island! Yes!!! It’s Castaway cay and on certain voyages, your cruise can stop here and see some rare characters!!
Did you know you and your travel agent can book in advance to meet the princesses?? YES! This royal gathering has multiple princess. On the Disney wish we were able to meet Cinderella, Moana, Rapunzel, and Belle all next to each other! This sells out quickly, so it’s best to be on your app as soon as your cruise booking date opens to get your reservation to meet them) Guess what? ITS FREE!!)
It’s important to note that each cruise may have different characters and their outfits each sailing so it’s good to not go in hoping to meet someone very specific!
This was by far one of the best times on the Disney wish! Not to long of lines, you never feel rushed when meeting a character, and hey if you want to change outfits to meet certain characters you can go right back to your cabin, change and get in line for another!!
