Summer 2025 has officially begun and Walt Disney World is starting off with a bang! The theme park destination has announced the special ticketed event, Disney After Hours, for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT. This event takes place after the sun goes down and the park closes for the night. We’re talking three extra hours of attractions, characters, and snacks!
Starting off at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there will be nine Wednesday nights throughout July, August, and September. Guests with a valid Disney After Hours event ticket will be able to enter the park beginning at 7pm, while the event does not officially kick off until 9:30pm and continues through 12:30 am. That’s five and a half hours of fun in the park!
During the event there will be eight attractions open for guests, all with considerably lower wait times. The attractions that are scheduled to be open are: Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania!, Alien Swirling Saucers, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and finally, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. There will also be characters roaming around to greet guests!
Grabbing something to fuel you for the night might be a priority before the park closes as there will be select options available including; KRNR The Rock Station, Milk Stand, Woody’s Lunch Box, and Oga’s Cantina. To help keep up the energy throughout the night, included in your ticket there are unlimited bottled beverages, popcorn, and ice cream novelties.
The second park offering the Disney After Hours event is EPCOT. This after hours event begins at 10 pm and continues through 1 am. Guests with a valid Disney After Hours event ticket can enter the park beginning at 7 pm meaning that is six full hours of adventure! With ten dates from June 26 through September 25, 2025 (select Thursdays).
There will be nine attractions opened for the event that include: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Around the World, Grand Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, Living with the Land, Mission: Space, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Spaceship Earth. As far as characters that will be around the park, chances are that Donald Duck can be found in the Mexico Pavilion, Mickey Mouse at the Dreamer statue, Goofy at Communicore Hall, and finally Minnie Mouse in the France gazebo.
Looking for a place to grab a bite? Other than the included ice cream novelties, popcorn, and bottled beverages, there will be various kiosks, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, and even the Rose & Crown Pub will be open for purchases.
The final park, Disney’s Magic Kingdom, will host the Disney After Hours event on select nights in 2026. However, we have no official dates yet, just that it is returning. The popcorn, ice cream novelties, and bottled beverages will be included with the ticket. But be sure to check back for the dates, attractions, and times.
