On Jan 23, 2024 a group of Marvelous Mouse Travel agents were invited on the inaugural sailing of Royal Caribbean's newest ship Icon of the Seas. One of the most asked questions I get as a travel planner is what dining is included in my cruise. Icon of the Seas, the first Icon ship in this class had the largest variety of included dining options for all guests onboard. With over 12 dining options included on Icon of the Seas, you will never be hungry on this ship! The Grove & Coastal Kitchen are reserved for suite guests only.
So where can you dine?
Here you can dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Breakfast & Lunch is served at one of the main dining rooms at specific time windows. You can check your cruise planner for available options.
Dinner has 3 options for seating. 5:30pm, 8:00pm or My Time dining.
My Time is a more flexible option for those that don’t want a set time each night.

The windjammer cafe is a favorite amongst Royal Caribbean guests.

This is a new dining option onboard Icon of the Seas. This food hall features 5 different food stands. Including Creme De La Crepe, GNGR, Mac’s, Feta, Toast & Garden. So many options to choose from, try one or sample something from all. My favorite was the bacon mac & cheese & the Pita with Falafel, feta and tzatziki!
This is another Royal Caribbean favorite found in Central Park. Here you can find sandwiches, grab and go bite, soup of the day, create your own. Plus the Royal Caribbean famous Kummelweck - Roast beef on a rye roll with your choice of condiments. Did you really sail on Royal if you didn’t have a Kummelweck?
Basecamp is new to Icon of the seas! Here you can find complimentary snacks like soft pretzel bites with cheese sauce. Some menu options have an additional cost.
This cafe can be found in the Promenade. This is open 24 hours!!
Café Promenade serves coffee, snacks, pastries, and sandwiches around the clock.
Some of the agents on the trip spent some time here catching up on emails and enjoying coffee and snacks.
Everyone loves Sorrento’s pizza. Lunch, Dinner
This is a Royal Caribbean favorite. Here you can get antipasto, pizza & dessert. Sorrento’s is open late so stop by after your evening out for your favorite pizza!
Located in the adorable Surfside Neighborhood area this buffet is perfect for kids & adults.
Available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Feast on bacon, eggs, pancakes, donuts.
