Dining has never been easier when onboard with Norwegian Cruise Lines. With 17 ships as part of their fleet and more on the way Norwegian offers a wide variety of dining options while onboard to appease every adventurer both young and old. However something that has set them apart from other cruise lines is their freestyle dining but what exactly is that?

Freestyle dining is where you can dine when and where you want, with no set dining times or pre-assigned seating. Complimentary restaurants have no charges. Specialty restaurants are an additional charge. When you are onboard you will receive a Freestyle Daily in your stateroom which will review all of the activities and dining options for the day. You can also use the Norwegian Cruise Line app as well.

On Norwegian Encore there are 3 main dining rooms called The Manhattan Room, Taste and Savor. These restaurants all have the same nightly menu. There is also a buffet called The Garden Cafe. All 4 of these restaurants are included with your sailing package.
Additionally there are 12 specialty restaurants. These restaurants are Cagney Steakhouse, Ocean Blue, Onda by Scarpetta, Food Republic, Teppanayaki, Los Lobos, American Diner, Le Bistro, The Local Bar & Grill and Q Texas Steakhouse. Each restaurant has a different theme as well as a different menu. There are so many amazing options onboard you truly would never have to eat the same thing twice.

For those with a sweet tooth, there are 3 delicious dessert shops onboard. Coco’s, Dolce Gelato, and The Bake Shop offer some of the most decadent sweet treats anywhere. Everything from macaroons and bon bons to gelato and milkshakes can be found onboard this amazing vessel.
With so many distinctive and heavenly dining options onboard the Norwegian Encore, you will never go hungry and will always eat on your own schedule!
