Sail away aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, The Wish, and feast your eyes on all the delicious food it has to offer. This ship has a little something for everyone, from picky eaters to foodies, while keeping the magic of Disney storytelling alive.
Provided with your stay on board this beautiful ship, are complimentary dining options that range from buffets and quick service snacks to room service and sit down dinners. However, there are some specialty dining options, for an additional fee, if you are looking for something a little more special.
So pull up a chair and dig in!
Disney Cruise Line uses a rotational dining schedule, which allows you to experience every main dining room on board. You can select an early (5:45pm) or late (8:00pm) dinner schedule when booking your cruise. Once you’ve selected your dining schedule, that will remain throughout the length of your cruise.
The Wish has three incredibly themed main dining rooms that you will rotate throughout your sailing. My favorite aspect of this is that your waitstaff follows you every night to your next location. They truly bring top notch service to your vacation by learning your preferences and dislikes, any allergies you may have, as well as providing your table with fun trivia or brain teasers to entertain you. You will find plant based options as well allergy friendly options on the menus.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure (Deck 5):
Join in the celebration of the royal engagement between Queen Anna and Kristoff at this musical dinner theater experience, hosted by none other than Oaken’s Hearty Party Planning Services!
While dining on Nordic inspired dishes, you will be entertained by your favorite “Frozen” Characters, as they sing and dance to the iconic music from the “Frozen” films. You are encouraged to sing-a-long and share in the celebration.
You’ll find smoked salmon, baked scallops in puff pastry, and cheese and rosemary ham tarts to start. Enjoy hearty entrees of roasted pork tenderloin, beef, or fish with colorful seasonal vegetables and potatoes. Then finish the evening with nordic inspired desserts like apple or butter cakes, pancakes with lingonberry jam, or Elsa’s Coronation Sundae with mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Worlds of Marvel (Deck 4):
One of the most fun and interactive dinners on board is found at Worlds of Marvel. This is a cinematic dining experience like no other, where you truly feel as if you are a part of the mission at hand. A new technology is revealed during your evening, the Quantum Core, which grows or shrinks objects when activated.

With screens surrounding the restaurant and a Quantum Core at every table, you are sucked into the immersive experience that Ant Man and The Wasp provide, with occasional hijinks along the way. You might just be surprised at what or who the Quantum Core affects during this adventure.

As the evening goes on you may find yourself, along with an Avenger or two, joining forces in order to save the day! This dinner had thrills, adventure, laughter, and excitement that both the kids and adults enjoyed.
The dishes have little nods to the Marvel Universe such as: Wakandan salads, Sokovia soups, and of course you can’t be an Avenger without shawarma! Pym Technologies displayed eye-catching desserts like Quantum Key Lime Pie, Cheesecake Byte and the Pym Doughnut Sundae.

1923 (Deck 3):
This restaurant truly honored the Walt Disney Company and old Hollywood during 1923, the year the company was founded. Sketches and props from early Disney animation adorn the walls and shelves of this classic styled restaurant, as if you have stepped back in time.

This main dining room is split into two sections, Walt Disney and Roy Disney, which are located portside and starboard side of the grand atrium. The atmosphere feels more upscale and quiet compared to the other two main dining options. This is also a great spot for breakfast if you want to have a leisurely morning without the hustle and bustle of the food hall.
Dinner dishes are inspired by California fare and its diverse culinary cultures. We found this to have the most diverse and beautifully plated dishes.

Marceline Market (Deck 11):
In another way to honor Walt Disney, this food hall style dining was named after Walt’s hometown: Marceline, Missouri. This is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a little bit of everything to try. Marceline has a variety of dishes to choose from, from all around the world. You can get a casual breakfast or lunch while enjoying indoor or outdoor seating, both with a view.
For breakfast Mickey waffles and the omelet station were the go to, while at lunch we found the international dishes, fresh seafood, and the plethora of desserts were the star of the show. For children or just picky eaters, there is a kids station that has your traditional Disney chicken tenders and fries.

There is also a full service bar located at the entrance to Merceline Market, for an additional fee.
Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods (Deck 11)
Since the pool deck is the place to be, having quick service options located next to all the fun was the perfect choice. You can swim, watch movies on the deck, or experience the thrilling AquaMouse then take a moment to enjoy a quick bite or full meal. Some menus include plant based options.
There are five food stalls, representing the Disney Fab Five:

Room service is available 24 hours a day. Although most items are complimentary, there are a select few items that do require an extra charge. With a variety of options like sandwiches, burgers, salads, and desserts to name a few, there is something for everyone at any given time. The chicken wings and the All Hands on Deck cheese board were repeated favorites.
There are two specialty dining locations aboard The Wish: Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Both require reservations, guests to be 18+, and guests must adhere to a dress code. It is highly recommended to book as soon as your booking window opens in order to get a spot at either one of these locations due to spots being highly sought after.
Palo Steakhouse (Deck 12):
One of my favorite places to eat on Disney ships is Palo. On the Wish, Palo’s design is inspired by Beauty and the Beast’s Cogsworth, with sweeping views of the ocean. You’ll find incredible Italian and steak dishes.
Brunch $45:
Start off your highly coveted Brunch with a seafood or meat and cheese antipasti selection while sipping on a bloody Mary or Bellini. You will find a variety of breakfast options like omelets, frittatas, waffles and pancakes, but the Italian dishes are the star!

The Flatbreads pizzas are perfect for sharing with your table or a personal entree. The most talked about brunch dishes at all the Palo locations are the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Breast and the Lasagna Bolognese, and the Wish is no different. The parmesan-crusted chicken breast is one of the most recommended dishes by the servers and Disney Cruise Line aficionados.
Dinner:
You can enjoy the delicious dinner two ways at Palo. There is a pre-fixe dinner for $45 which allows you to select one antipasti, insalata, entree and dessert from their specialty menu. The second option is á la carte. No matter what you decide on, you truly cannot go wrong with your choices. Indulging yourself in the incredible pasta dishes and decadent Italian desserts will make you feel like you've been instantly transported to Italy.
The selection of steak, lamb, and veal are top tier and every meat lover's dream come true. Pair your steak with an Italian wine and delicious sides for a meal you’ll always remember.
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement (Deck 12):
The piece de resistance of dining aboard the Wish is Enchanté. The beautiful, romantic, and upscale restaurant is inspired by another Beauty and the Beast character, Lumiere. Curated by the renowned French Chef Arnaud Lallement, the three Michelin star chef whose work you may have come across on other Disney Cruise Line ships in the French inspired restaurant Remy. Chef Lallement has crafted three ways to enjoy his seasonal menus, which illuminates the use of the best quality ingredients found all around the world to bring you a culinary experience course by course.
For an additional fee you can find small bites and desserts throughout the Wish such as:

The Bayou (Deck 3)- Transport yourself to New Orleans at this Princess and the Frog inspired lounge where you can indulge in beignets, sip on cocktails, coffee, tea, or juice, and listen to the smooth sounds of jazz bands playing.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets (Deck 11)- For those of you who have a sweet tooth, this Inside Out themed gelato and ice cream shop is for you! With a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from, you will certainly be experiencing Joy!
Keg & Compass (Deck 5) - This seafaring pub adorned with wood carvings and nautical maps not only has a wide variety of drinks, including three beers on tap that you can only find on the Wish, but you can also grab a bite to eat. Enjoy traditional pub food like fish and chips, bangers and mash, german pretzels and more, while discovering Disney Easter eggs decorating the pub.
