While fans are attending the Destination D23 event, Disney Destinations is also putting the information together, and I am able to provide you with some of those updates! So many new things are changing and arriving at Walt Disney World in the coming months. Some of which guests are excited to see and experience.
It has been announced that Ahsoka, a character from the Star Wars franchise will be joining the forces on the Star Tours attraction at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park. The new appearance will behind next spring, which means the ride will be getting a bit of a reimagining.
Arriving at EPCOT and Disneyland Resort, Asha, from the newest film “Wish” will be joining the guests in the parks. While there is no official date announced, Disney Destinations just stated that she will be there soon.
The one that many fans have been waiting for, especially after the new film “The Haunted Mansion” was released to theaters. The new Hatbox Ghost will be joining the crew inside the attraction at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Disney has stated that late November, which means just in time for the holiday season! The Hatbox Ghost will be found right past the Endless Hallway.
Also receiving a new upgrade at Disney’s Magic Kingdom is the Country Bear Jamboree. The news states that the Disney songs will be “reinterpreted” into the country music genre. I personally cannot wait to enjoy this new updated show!
At the park across the country, Disney California Adventure Park will be receiving a new attraction as well. The new addition will belong to the Avengers Campus, and feature a new ride vehicle that guests will be sure to enjoy. Disney Destinations states “combines elements of Tony Stark’s time-suites with Xandarian jump points and Wakanda technology.” While no other information regarding the new attraction has been released, everyone that loves Marvel and Avenger films will be eager to hear more about it!
Jack Sparrow, or really Pirates of the Caribbean, will be opening a new themed lounge! This is super exciting news for the fans of the films. It will be a first-of-its-kind experience, states the news article.
