Disneyland is going to be undergoing some changes and that includes a transformation of Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland Park! This area is going to add more play and interactivity; including all new experiences that will accentuate guests senses. Mickey’s Toontown will be closed beginning March 9, 2022, and will reopen in early 2023, alongside the new attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
When Toontown reopens guests will be able to experience some longtime favorites such as Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Mickey’s House and Minnie’s House! Plus, other attractions will be reimagined in new and exciting ways, including Gadget’s Go Coaster, Goofy’s House and Donald’s Boat. If you want to see the original Toontown before it is changed visit by March 8th and remember guests will need a park ticket and reservation.
In the meantime while this area undergoes extensive refurbishment and changes there will still be plenty for younger guests to enjoy.
