We are just about halfway through June, and almost officially summer, which also means we are celebrating Halfway to the Holidays at Disney Parks! This celebration throughout the parks is taking place now - from June 13, 2023 to June 15, 2023, and there is no better way to enjoy the holiday craze than with delicious snacks! At both parks, Disneyland and Walt Disney World, plus aboard Disney Cruise Line, you will find festive eats and sweets.
Disneyland in Anaheim, California, has three particular treats in celebration of being halfway to the holidays. If you mosey on over to the Cozy Cone Motel 1 located in Cars Land, you will find a delightfully refreshing Egg Nog Slush with Rumchata! This beauty of an adult beverage is topped with whipped cream and holiday themed sprinkles. Need a little break from the parks? If you’re inside Disney California Adventure Park, I suggest heading to Pacific Wharf Cafe where you will find the cutest little treat, a Mickey Gingerbread! It is a great spot on the water for a midday break.
If you are not in the parks during June 13th through 15th and would still like to enjoy a seasonal favorite, head into Downtown Disney. Here you will find a sweet macaroon at Kayla’s Cake. The macaroon is printed with a gingerbread man, and filled with gingerbread buttercream.
On the East Coast, the parks have a different variety of snacks. No park tickets are required for these next two adorable snacks. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be offering the Brownie Tree Top and a Gingersnap Cookie. The Brownie Tree Top is a tree shaped brownie with an icing drizzle for decoration and rainbow sprinkles to remind us of the twinkling lights. The Gingersnap Cookie is large enough to share, and also contains candied ginger. Both of these treats are available for purchase at Gasparilla Island Grill.
Disney Cruise Line is also taking part in celebrating Halfway to the Holidays! Only select ships of the fleet will have the limited time treats and collectibles at various dates. Joyful Sweets and Sweets on You, Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy, will offer an adorable cupcake called Happy Santa. This cheerful cupcake has vanilla frosting, holiday sprinkles, and topped with a chocolate Santa Claus!
Also featured on select ships are the Reindeer Sipper, Holiday Stainless Steel Tumbler, and the Christmas Rotating Popcorn Tin. These items will only be available for select dates.
