Nothing is ever celebrated in a small fashion at Walt Disney World! Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month will span from September 15, 2024 through October 15, 2024 with so many amazing things to do! EPCOT at Walt Disney World always offers cuisines from cultures around the world and several locations featuring those of Hispanic and Latin American cuisines during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Presented by CORKCICLE.
Also at the festival is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. This year there will be three Latin artist sets and a local Orlando Latin band performing over a seven night span. The concert series seating is on a first come, first serve basis unless an Eat to the Beat Dining Package is reserved, which then also includes secured reserved seating for a performance.
A brand new experience, that was labeled as limited time only, has been extended in conjunction with Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, also inside EPCOT. ¡Celebración Encanto! has officially been extended at CommuniCore Plaza Stage. Guests can sing and dance along with their favorite characters, Mirabel and Bruno. The performance is several times per day and also features fun trivia!
Also beginning on September 15, 2024, Mariachi Cobre will be performing on select dates. The amazing band can be found at EPCOT, and Disney Destinations mention that a special guest may stop by during the performance. Who could it be?
If you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you have the opportunity to attend a drawing session with a Disney animator. In the spirit of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, Dante from the film “Coco” will be the featured character plus you can meet the Hispanic Pixar animator, Ana Ramierz! This experience can be found in The Animation Experience at Conservation Station, just a quick Wildlife Express Train ride from the main park to the Conservation Station.
