Each year EPCOT hosts the most magical and festive event, EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth. Here guests from around the world get to take a peek into holidays and traditions from other parts of the world without traveling anywhere, except to Walt DIsney World, and all with just an admission ticket to EPCOT. The festival will return this year and begin on November 29, 2024 and continues each day through December 30, 2024.
Like mentioned above, guests can stroll the World Showcase and experience a wide variety of holiday transitions from around the world. The Norway Pavilion presents the Barn Santa, while in China guests can experience traditions from Lunar New Year and the Chinese Lion Dance. Traditions of Hanukkah can be found between the pavilions of Morocco and France, and tales of the witch that visits Italy can be heard in the Italy Pavilion.

One of the most popular traditions inside of EPCOT is the Candlelight Processional. It has been noted that guests line up for hours waiting for entry to one of the processional performances. Each evening during the festival, a celebrity narrator shares the story of Christmas with the guests attending the festival. Alongside the celebrity narrator, a choir of Disney Cast Members and community members join in on the performance. Bringing it all together is a 50-piece orchestra and a group of herald trumpets. The fantastic Voices of Liberty also take the stage for each performance of the Candlelight Processional, and they are an amazing treat.
Each evening there will be three shows; 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.. Did you know that you can have reserved seating at one of the three shows with just a Candlelight Processional Dining Package? There are fifteen dining venues offering the dining package this year, some offering breakfast, lunch, or dinner dining options, and with that package it reserves your seats.

The 2024 narrators have also recently been announced, and this is something that many guests wait to plan their visits around. Throughout the season, there will be fourteen different narrators, most of which are returning! The new narrators, joining us for the very first time are: Nico Santos, Tituss Burgess, and Ralph Macchio. The remaining eleven have performed before, and are: Josh Gad (the opening of the Candlelight Processional), Chrissy Metz, Whoopi Goldberg, Brendan Fraser, Gary Sinise, Neil Patrick Harris (a crowd favorite), Pat Sajak, Gloria Estefan, Edward James Olmos, Sterling K Brown, and another crowd favorite, Jodi Benson. What an amazing list of narrators there are for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
