We always love to touch base on the many changes that have been coming and going to the Disney theme parks and resorts around the world. Some include dining locations, shows, entertainment, character meet and greets, and much more. With hard work of many cast members and some bells and whistles, Disney California Adventure's Red Car Trolley returned to operation on July 17.

Let’s start with a little about the trolley. It was modeled after the 2,700 Pacific Electric Railway trolleys that covered more than 1,000 miles of Los Angeles track from 1887 until 1961, the Red Car Trolley pays homage to the 1920s lifestyle that first greeted Walt Disney when he arrived in Southern California in 1923. And now guests of all ages can enjoy riding on this trolley as well as enjoying a piece of history! Cast members even spoke about the trolley car as well. Attractions Lead Ryan Austerman said the trolley is the heart of Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land. He also said it completes the whole picture of being transported back to the early days in Los Angeles. How awesome that this trolley looks exactly as it did when Walt arrived.
Guests will be able to enjoy views of Buena Vista Street, Carthay Circle Restaurant, Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard while learning about the man who came to Los Angeles with an idea, and later, followed his dreams. We all know who that icon is right? Yes! Walt himself! The Red Car Trolley remains a unique experience that highlights Walt’s journey allowing guests to feel what it was like to walk in his footsteps. As many may realize bringing back such attractions isn’t simple! Not only did it include the renovation of the attraction but also cast members had to be trained on the amazing storyline brought to life while riding.
