Who doesn’t love Summer, and sun, and all things hot? I know a really friendly snowman that does, and he found the perfect home at Disney’s Blizzard Beach when they closed for a refurbishment a few years ago. Now the water park is getting ready for a huge celebration! Grab your suits, sunscreen, and hats, and let’s hit the slopes!
The 2025 season brings a milestone for Disney’s Blizzard Beach with the celebration of its 30th Anniversary in April! That means 30 years of laughs, family, and Disney magic! The celebration brings a party to the park. A DJ will be playing tunes near the Polar Pub, fun character-themed inner tubes can be found floating through Cross Country Creek, and there will even be snowman bowling located in the park! There will also be other games where prizes can be won! To keep the theme, some prizes include winter-themed rubber ducks, snowflake tattoos, and even snowy bubbles! How cute!?
To help celebrate, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be greeting guests, in their winter gear of course! I personally have also seen Goofy wandering around the Cross Country Creek in his swim attire throughout the day, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes an appearance too!
As with every event that Walt Disney World creates, there will be special food and beverages available for purchase in honor of the anniversary.
This even will be held throughout the month of April and will end on April 30th, so if you want to be a part of the celebration act fast! The water park, and the anniversary celebration (while it lasts) is also part of the promotion when guest’s check-in at a Walt Disney World resort in 2025, they receive complimentary admission to a Disney Water Park on their check-in day!
