Here's a great post from Kendall on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, which is in full swing on both coasts. This party is a fun addition to your fall Disney trip!
With summer coming to an end, it's time to start thinking about how you will spend your fall break. Fall brings pumpkins and with pumpkins come Halloween! There's no better way to celebrate Halloween than attending one of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties at the Magic Kingdom!
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a night full of ghoulish delights. Come dressed for the occasion as your favorite character (costume restrictions do apply) or if costumes aren't really your thing, just show up in your favorite, festive T-Shirt!
The party starts at 7pm on select nights from August to November 2017 (dates listed below) costing $69-$110 for children and $74 -$115 for adults. Gates will open to party guests at 4pm, the party itself starts at 7pm and continues on until midnight. Tickets should be purchased in advance to guarantee entry because these parties have limited space and do sell out!
This "not so scary" party is great for all ages. Trick or Treat around the Magic Kingdom, catch the Headless Horseman as he rides down Main Street U.S.A. in the phenomenal "Boo to You!" parade and watch "Happy HalloWishes" in front of Cinderella Castle as the villains set off a Halloween fireworks. As if that wasn't enough, you can meet your favorite Disney characters dressed for the occasion in their Halloween costumes, along with a few rare meet and greets like Jack Skellington!
The park itself will be decorated with special lighting, themes and music to transform the Magic Kingdom into a spooktacular home for all happy haunts. The Sanderson Sisters even stop by for a Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular.
Many of your favorite Magic Kingdom attractions will be open during the party and without the long lines and crowds of a regular day at Magic Kingdom. Specially themed treats and merchandise will also be available during the party.
