Each year one of the two Disney water parks closes for refurbishment. Currently Disney’s Blizzard Beach is closed, but just in time for the holiday kick off in the parks, Disney’s Blizzard Beach will reopen for guests to enjoy some cool summertime fun! Beginning November 6, 2023, guests will be able to experience the newly improved water park.
A brand new ticket option, Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass will debut at just $79 plus tax per person! This pass will allow guests unlimited access to the water park again and again until May 24, 2024. That is such an amazing deal for the local guests and guests that plan to spend quite a few days chilling in the water parks.
In more exciting news, there will also be new food, snack, and beverages on the menus throughout the park. The speciality churros have snuck its way onto the menus. First up is the S’mores Churro! This churro bite snack has graham cracker crumbles, a marshmallow whipped cream across the top, and a chocolate drizzle. The second specialty churro is the Banana Split Churro. This is exactly what you think it will be! Also served as churro bites, they are topped with slices of bananas and strawberries, pieces of brownies and cookies, and small chunks of pineapple. It wouldn’t be a banana split without the chocolate and caramel sauce drizzle, whipped cream, and cherry! Both of these delicious sounding churros can be found at Arctic Expeditions.
Other new menu additions at the park include Honey Sriracha Chicken Wing and Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings. These can be found at Warming Hut!
The cutest adventures for the littles is also at Disney’s Blizzard Beach! Tikes Peak. This adorable area features Snowgie Pals and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen.The Snowgies have some great water splashing features and Anna and Elsa overlook the area from above.
For those looking for more of a “chill” attraction, guests will have to visit Cross Country Creek! Don’t worry, it is heated. Maybe your crew wants more of a thrill? Head over to Teamboat Springs where a group of 6 can twist and turn their way down the slopes on this amazing adventure! Is everyone feeling competitive? There is something for that too! Slide your way downhill on the Toboggan Racers that features three downhill slopes!
