Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) is a magical salon experience offered at select Disney destinations, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. Inspired by the fairy godmother’s enchanting spell from Cinderella, this boutique specializes in transforming young guests into their favorite Disney characters through royal makeovers. Upon entering Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, children are greeted by Fairy Godmothers-in-training who guide them through the magical transformation process. Guests can choose from various packages offering different levels of pampering, including hairstyling, makeup, nail polish, and costumes inspired by beloved Disney characters.
The experience is personalized and interactive, allowing children to feel like true princes and princesses as they are adorned with sparkling accessories and magical touches. Whether they dream of being Cinderella, Elsa, Spider-Man, or a pirate, the skilled Fairy Godmothers make every makeover a memorable and enchanting experience. I recently had the opportunity to surprise my daughter with a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover onboard our Disney cruise! Previously she had only experienced it at Magic Kingdom so I was excited to see what new offerings they had with DCL. She was greeted by her Fairy Godmother and shown around the wardrobe section of BBB. These outfits differ slightly from what MK has to offer, as the boys section even had a ship Captain’s attire.
Once she decided on her dress (she picked Aurora), we got her changed and seated in the chair. This is where the real magic began! She was able to choose from 3 different hairstyles and she decided on the one with a top bun and crown. Her Fairy Godmother got to work on her hair. Once that was complete, she had her nails and makeup done.
Then it was time for the big reveal. She was spun around in her chair so that she was facing the mirror (with her eyes closed) and on the count of 3 opened them to see the final results. She was so excited and felt like royalty!
Included in the price of the makeover ($199.95) was the gorgeous Aurora dress which came with it’s on crown headband and light-up magical wand. She was also given a BBB sash, glittery backpack, and was able to keep her makeup and nail polish.
