EPCOT has quickly become my favorite Walt Disney World park, especially with the NEW Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Attraction, but when I think of EPCOT, I think of Food & Drink! I am hungry just typing....
Just depending on what time of year you are visiting, there will be a certain festival, with many unique and wonderful drinks and snacks at EPCOT located around the World Showcase. However, there are certain Gems all throughout EPCOT that you can get year round, regardless of the Festival.
Here are my favorites…
Literally ANYTHING from Karamell-Küche!
Karamell-Küche is German for “Caramel Kitchen” and this amazing shop is located in the Germany Pavilion inside the World Showcase. You will find delectable Wurther’s Caramel infused treats, from Caramel Popcorn to a Sea-Salt Caramel Square. How do you decide what to get? I don’t , I just end up ordering one of everything!
“School Bread”
“School Bread” (technically - Skolebrød) can be found at Kringla Bakery in the Norway Pavilion. So while you are waiting in line for Frozen Ever After, make sure you pop in and grab one of these sweet bread topped with custard and coconut flakes...It’s amazing!
Egg Rolls
Right outside of the China Pavilion in the World Showcase you can find the permanent kiosk - The Joy of Tea. It’s here that you will find the most delicious Egg Rolls in all of Walt Disney World (oh… and you can get a Bubble Tea to wash those down with!)
Gelati
I scream, you scream, we all scream for Gelato! Okay, so maybe that’s not how it's said, but the Gelato at Gelateria Toscana (right outside of the Italy Pavilion) is worth screaming for! Get it in a waffle cone and thank me later!
Grand Marnier Orange Slush
Is a drink a “snack”? I say “Yes!”... Although, as you can probably already tell by the name, the Grand Marnier Orange Slush is for adults only. This refreshing beverage (especially on a hot day) can be found at Les Vins Des Chefs Des France (a permanent Kiosk) in the France Pavilion.
Poutine
Do you ever just crave poutine? I absolutely do and if you are making your way over to Canada in the World Showcase stop by Refreshment Port and grab a Poutine… You will not be sorry. Sometimes they will also have other seasonal poutine offerings but the original always hits the spot!
Maple Popcorn
Speaking of Canada, not too far from the refreshment port you can find a Maple Popcorn Cart. Just regular Popcorn is a fantastic snack at Walt Disney World but add Maple Syrup and take it to the next level. Here’s a TIP! If you have purchased a refillable popcorn bucket (which I highly recommend for your visit) you can actually pay the current refill price to get a bucket full of Maple Popcorn.
Too many to list…
There are still so many great snacks at EPCOT that you can grab year round that I haven’t even mentioned so I recommend visiting EPCOT on an empty stomach. Whether you decide to start your journey around “the world” in Mexico, Canada or France, you cannot go wrong! Now… If you will excuse me, I may head to EPCOT to pick up a snack or two!
